1. Stay-stitch front and back neck edges 1/2" (1.3cm) from cut
edge in direction of arrows.
This stitching stays in permanently and helps prevent
stretching on curved edges.
Stay-stitching will not be shown in the following illustrations.

fabric through the center of the dart, bringing broken lines
and small dots together. On INSIDE, place pins at RIGHT
angles to the broken lines. Stitch the dart from wide end to
point.
TIP- To prevent a “bubble” at the point, make the last few
stitches right on the fold and leave the thread ends long
enough to tie a knot. DO NOT back-stitch at the point.
Press the dart flat along the stitching to “blend” the stitches,
then press dart down.
7. Apply fusible interfacing to WRONG side of front and back
facing sections following manufacturer’s directions. Stitch
shoulder seams of facing sections.
To EDGE FINISH unnotched edge...stitch 1/4" (6mm) from
edge, turn under along stitching and stitch OR zig-zag over
the edge OR overlock/serge over the edge.

8. Pin WRONG side of facing to RIGHT side of lining at neck
edge, matching centers and shoulder seams. Baste center

6. Cosa el frente a la espalda por las costuras de los hombros y de los lados. Cosa el forro de la
misma manera que el vestido, lea los pasos 2, 4 y 5.
7. Aplique la entretela adhesiva al REVES de las secciones de la vista del frente y de la espalda,
siguiendo las instrucciones del fabricante. Cosa las costuras de los hombros de las secciones de
la vista. Para hacer el ACABADO DEL BORDE sin muesca...cosa a 1/4" (6mm) del borde, doble
por la costura y cosa a máquina O cosa a puntadas de zigzag U overlock/sobrehilado sobre el
borde.
8. Prenda con alfileres el REVES de la vista al DERECHO del forro al borde del escote, casando los
centros y las costuras de los hombros. Hilvane el centro de la espalda y los bordes del escote
juntos.
9. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres el forro al vestido, sobreponiendo los centros,
las costuras de los hombros, de los lados y emparejando los bordes no acabados. Cosa el borde
del escote. Recorte la costura; haga cortes en las curvas.
10. Para coser con puntadas ocultas la vista, planche la vista hacia afuera y la costura hacia la vista.
Con la vista hacia arriba, cosa cerca de la costura a través de la vista y de los márgenes de la
costura.
11. Voltee el forro hacia el INTERIOR; planche. Hilvane a la máquina los bordes de las sisas juntos.
12. Cosa la costura del debajo del brazo de la manga.
13. Cosa la costura del debajo del brazo del forro de la manga. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda
con alfileres el forro por el borde inferior de la manga, sobreponiendo las costuras. Cosa el borde
inferior. Recorte la costura; haga cortes en las curvas.
14. Voltee el forro de manga hacia el INTERIOR; planche. Hilvane los bordes no acabados juntos.
Para fruncir la parte superior de la manga entre las muescas, cosa a lo largo de la línea de costura
y 1/4” (6mm) al INTERIOR de la línea de costura, usando una puntada larga de máquina.
15. Vuelva la manga al DERECHO. Sostenga la prenda al REVES con la sisa hacia usted. DERECHO
CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres la manga al borde de la sisa, colocando el punto pequeño
del centro en la costura del hombro y casando las costuras de debajo de los brazos y los puntos
pequeños restantes. Hale las puntadas para embeber hasta la medida necesaria. Para distribuir la
amplitud uniformemente, pase la tela por los hilos de la canilla hasta que no haya arrugas o
pliegues en la línea de costura. Hilvane. Cosa. Cosa de nuevo a 1/8" (3mm) de la primera costura.
Recorte el margen abajo de las muescas a ras de la costura. Planche solamente el margen de
costura, encogiendo así la amplitud.
FORRO B
16. Cosa juntos el frente y la espalda del vestido por las costuras de los hombros. Cosa el forro de la
misma manera que el vestido modelo A, lea los pasos 2, 4 y 5.
Continúe igual que para el modelo A, lea los pasos 7 y 8.
17. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres el forro al vestido, casando los centros y las
costuras de los hombros y emparejando los bordes no acabados. Cosa los bordes del escote y de
las sisas. Recorte la costura; haga cortes en las curvas.
Continúe igual que para el modelo A, lea el paso 10.
18. Voltee el forro al REVES sacando la espalda por los hombros. Planche.
19. Abra el forro en los lados. DERECHO CON DERECHO, cosa de un pespunte continuo, toda la
costura del lado desde el borde inferior del vestido hasta el borde del forro casando las costuras.
20. Voltee el forro al INTERIOR; planche.
CONTINÚE COMO SIGUE PARA A, B
21. Abra el forro de la espalda. DERECHO CON DERECHO, cosa la costura del centro trasero del
vestido hasta la muesca; retroceda en la muesca para reforzar la costura. Corte hasta la costura al
extremo superior de la abertura. DERECHO CON DERECHO, cosa la costura del centro trasero
del forro de la misma manera.
22. Voltee el forro al INTERIOR. Hilvane los bordes del centro trasero juntos arriba del corte, como se
muestra.
23. Planche un doblez de 5/8" (1.5cm) al borde IZQUIERDO de la abertura trasera y otro de 1/2"
(1.3cm) sobre el borde DERECHO de la abertura. Prenda con alfileres el borde DERECHO de la
espalda sobre la cinta de la cremallera, colocando el borde doblado cerca de los dientes de la
cremallera y el extremo con la jaladera 3/8” (1cm) debajo del borde superior. Doble el extremo
superior de la cinta de la cremallera sobre el margen de costura. Hilvane. Prenda con alfileres e
hilvane el borde de la espalda IZQUIERDA sobre la cinta de la cremallera sobreponiendo la
espalda IZQUIERDA de 1/8" (3mm) sobre la espalda DERECHA. Doble el extremo superior de la
cinta de la cremallera sobre el margen de costura. Hilvane. Cosa con un prensatelas para
cremallera a lo largo del hilván. Cosa un corchete al borde del escote cuando la prenda esté
terminada.
3. Haga una puntada de sostén en los bordes del escote trasero a 1/2" (1.3cm) de los bordes
cortados en la dirección de las flechas. La puntada de sostén es permanente para prevenir que los
bordes curvos se estiren. El pespunte no aparece en las siguientes ilustraciones. Cosa la costura
del centro trasero. Cosa los paños laterales a las costuras de las partes laterales traseras. Prenda
con alfileres el frente a la espalda por las costuras de los hombros sobreponiendo los puntos
pequeños. Cosa la costura del borde de las sisas hasta el punto pequeño; retroceda en el punto
pequeño para reforzar la costura.
4. Aplique la entretela adhesiva al REVES del forro del cuello, de la vista del frente, del cuello
superior y las secciones de la vista trasera, siguiendo las instrucciones del fabricante.
5. Cosa la costura del centro trasero de las secciones del forro del cuello. Corte los bordes del escote
trasero hasta la puntada de sostén. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres el forro del
cuello al borde del escote, casando los centros traseros y colocando el punto pequeño en la
costura de los hombros. Cosa la costura. Recorte la costura; haga cortes en las curvas. Abra la
costura con la plancha.
6. Cosa la costura del centro trasero de la costura de la vista del frente y el cuello superior. Cosa a
máquina el borde trasero de la vista del escote a 1/2" (1.3cm) del borde cortado. Corte el borde
trasero de la vista del escote hasta la puntada a lo largo de las curvas. Corte la vista delantera
hasta los puntos pequeños en las esquinas interiores.
7. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres la vista delantera y el cuello sobre la vista
trasera al borde del escote y de los hombros, casando los centros y los puntos pequeños. Cosa el
borde del escote y de los hombros, girando con la aguja en la tela sobre los puntos pequeños en
las esquinas interiores. Recorte la costura; haga cortes en las curvas. Abra la costura con la
plancha. Para hacer el ACABADO DEL BORDE sin muesca...cosa a 1/4" (6mm) del borde, doble
por la costura y cosa a máquina O cosa a puntadas de zigzag U overlock/sobrehilado sobre el
borde. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres la vista y el cuello a la prenda, casando
los centros traseros. Hilvane, embebiendo la vista del frente y el cuello para ajustarlos. Cosa la
costura. Recorte la costura; haga cortes en las curvas.
8. Voltee la vista y el cuello hacia el REVES; planche. Cosa juntas las costuras del escote con
puntadas sueltas. Con los bordes no acabados parejos, hilvane la vista al borde de las sisas de la
prenda.
9. Para fruncir los bordes superior e inferior de la manga entre las muescas, cosa a lo largo de la
línea de costura y 1/4” (6mm) al INTERIOR de la línea de costura, usando una puntada larga de
máquina. Prenda con alfileres la costura del debajo del brazo. Tire de los hilos de frunces entre las
muescas. Cosa la costura. Planche el dobladillo hacia arriba. Para hacer el ACABADO DEL
BORDE...cosa un doblez de 1/4" (6mm), con puntadas de zigzag U overlock/sobrehilado sobre el
borde. Cosa el dobladillo en su sitio con puntadas falsas.
10. Vuelva la manga al DERECHO. Sostenga la prenda al REVES con la sisa hacia usted. DERECHO
CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres la manga al borde de la sisa, colocando el punto pequeño
del centro en la costura del hombro y casando las costuras de debajo de los brazos y los puntos
pequeños restantes. Hale las puntadas para embeber hasta la medida necesaria. Para distribuir la
amplitud uniformemente, pase la tela por los hilos de la canilla hasta que no haya arrugas o
pliegues en la línea de costura. Hilvane. Cosa. Cosa de nuevo a 1/8" (3mm) de la primera costura.
Recorte el margen abajo de las muescas a ras de la costura. Planche solamente el margen de
costura, encogiendo así la amplitud.
11. Pruébese la prenda. Inserte la hombrera y ajústela hasta que se vea bien y se sienta cómoda.
Préndala con alfileres en su lugar. Quítese la prenda. Por DENTRO, cosa la hombrera a la costura
del hombro con puntada de escapulario.
12. Marque el largo. Marque el ancho del dobladillo; recorte uniformemente. Doble la vista hacia el
EXTERIOR Cosa la vista por la marque del dobladillo. Recorte la vista a ras de la costura. Recorte
la prenda hasta 5/8" (1.5cm) del borde interior de la vista.
13. Voltee la vista hacia el INTERIOR; planche, formando el dobladillo con la plancha. Para hacer el
ACABADO DEL BORDE...cosa un doblez de 1/4" (6mm) con puntadas de zigzag U overlock/
sobrehilado sobre el borde. Cosa el dobladillo en su sitio con puntadas falsas.
14. PARA LOS MODELOS C, D- Si el patrón ha sido alterado, cambie el sitio de las marcas para los
ojales en la guía. Haga los ojales del frente DERECHO. (Haga cuatro ojales para el modelo C y
tres para el modelo D). Sobreponga el frente DERECHO sobre el frente IZQUIERDO casando los
centros. Cosa los botones abajo de los ojales.
15. Cosa los extremos con muesca de las secciones del cinturón con costura de 3/8" (1cm).
DERECHO CON DERECHO, doble el cinturón por la mitad a lo largo. Cosa con costura de 3/8"
(1cm) dejando una abertura para voltear. Recorte la costura y sesgue las esquinas.
16. Voltee el cinturón; plánchelo. Cierre la abertura con puntadas falsas.
PARA EL MODELO E- Si lo desea, prenda con alfileres la flor al revés de la chaqueta como se
muestra en el sobre del patrón.
