Business Analyst on IT Infrastructure: Client & Print

As a Business Analyst for IT Infrastructure: Client & Print you will work closely in a small
team with our Infrastructure Providers, our Business to elicit demands and our IT Security
Director.

You will own the solution portfolio for Client & Print, develop it according to global demands
and manage the Total Cost of Ownership of it.

Your responsibility will be to analyze and resolve the Business’ problems with the help of
technology, drive and escalate important support requests and help executing the
company’s Digital Strategy. The Business Analyst will bridge the Business’ demands with
technology and steer the development to ensure architectural adherence, delivery of value
and drive digitalization of business processes. Contribute as a project team member and
also act as project lead or steer projects with external project managers - Work in a Service
Operation team to cover all areas of IT Infrastructure - 3 to 5 days of travelling per month
might be required.

Key Responsibilities and deliverables:

• Define, test, certify, own and develop our hardware portfolio for Client PCs
(Notebooks, Desktops, Thin Clients, Touch Devices, Workstations) and peripherals

• Define, test, own and develop our hardware portfolio for Printers in Offices, Home-
Offices, Warehouses/Factories (including label printing) and Mobile Environments
(e.g. WLAN) with focus on application integration (mainly SAP)

• Consult our Business about Client PCs, Peripherals and Print solutions, publish our
standards on the Intranet and maintain the Service Catalog for ordering purposes

• Rework and continuously improve our support processes talking to our


Infrastructure vendors and partners

• Follow up on support KPIs and explain our Client & Print landscape to our vendors

• Participate in high-priority incident troubleshooting calls, also outside regular office


hours if required and contribute to resolutions

• Actively drive, develop, optimize and standardize our hardware and service portfolio
with Reference Groups from the Business - and work with Change requests towards
our suppliers

• Budget ownership of the portfolio including regular invoice handling


Your qualifications:

• Strong technical background regarding Client Technologies (Windows 10, GPOs,


SCCM etc.), Software Packaging and Standard Applications like MS-Office
• Technical background regarding Printing Technologies (Universal Driver concept,
packaging and distribution of drivers, print servers on Windows and Linux etc.
• Experienced in Vendor Management and how to drive and control vendors with
SLAs and reporting based on a set of KPIs
• Optional: Technical background for other Infrastructure areas like Network, Server,
Cloud, Middleware
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with
diverse people across different functions/cultures
• Strategic & logical thinking with great analytical skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English

This position is located in Glinde, Germany. You will report to the Director IT Service
