FAQs from parents –Online classes

1. How are the online classes structured?

These online classes will focus on your child’s development and academic learning, in a way that the learning &
development is continuous. The 1st term syllabus for a given academic year is converted to online module, which is
easy to execute from home. Activities planned to focus on readiness, pre-writing & pre-reading skills

2. When will the Academic session start?

The Academic year will start in the third week of June. The online classes will commence then and will continue
until it is safe for the child to come back to school. As we see there is development in situation every day, we
will wait for the directives to come from the government education bodies.

3. Which platform are we using for these online classes?

The online classes will be conducted through google meet which is integrated with our parent app. The teacher
will schedule the session a week in advance for the parents to know the schedule beforehand.

4. Will there be learning material available for parents?

Yes, all our books are converted to e-books / flipbooks, which is digitally available for a parent to access. There
are videos on concepts, stories, rhymes and life skills for children. Teacher can use this material during the
teaching hours & also share it with parents too.

5. Do you think children would be interested?

We understand that the attention span of a child is shorter, but our online classes are interactive filled with fun
way of teaching. Children get to meet their peer & teacher everyday, which is an excitement to them. At this
age children learn to adapt to new things very easily, eventually they will learn the new way of learning.

6. What is a parent’s role?

A parent plays a very important role during these sessions and it is strongly advised that these sessions are
conducted under an adult supervision. Post the screen time, a parent task

7. As I am a working parent, I will not be able to attend the class as per the schedule?
There will be recorded live sessions available for the parent for a day. The parent can view the video and
understand, what happened in the class for that day.

8. What is the fee we are charging for this?

We are not charging any fee for online classes. This is included in the given academic year fee. Hence the fee
remains the same as last year.

9. Can I take a trial class and then confirm if I have to continue?

Not really, you will be allowed in the class only once you enroll with us. Once you enroll with us, unique student
login credentials are shared with you using which you will be able to login to the class.

10. By when are the books available for students?

By end of June books will be available for the students.
