Notification of Pre-Qualification for the Availment of

Small Business Wage Subsidy

Dear Taxpayer,

Greetings!

The National Government is providing a wage subsidy for affected employees of small
businesses to help mitigate the impact of the quarantine in Luzon and various LGUs. This wage
subsidy shall be given for up to two months so that affected small businesses are able to retain
their employees during the quarantine period.

Under the Small Business Wage Subsidy (SBWS) measure, the government, through the SSS,
shall provide a wage subsidy of between 5,000 to 8,000 pesos (based on the regional minimum
wage) per month per eligible employee.

This letter is to notify you that your employees who were not able to work and did not receive
pay for at least two weeks during the quarantine period due to temporary closure or suspension
of work per Labor Advisory No. 1, Series of 2020 may qualify.

To avail of this subsidy, please log-in to your My.SSS account via the SSS website
(www.sss.gov.ph) and enter the ID number below and employer TIN in the SBWS page.

In the SBWS page, the employer shall identify the employees eligible for the wage subsidy.

The application period is from April 16 to 30, 2020. The subsidy is expected to be credited
directly to the employees’ disbursement accounts from May 1 to 15 for the first tranche and from
May 16 to 31 for the second tranche. In this regard, employees without bank accounts or e-
wallet details with SSS online are strongly encouraged to enroll via the member My.SSS
accounts. For employees without any bank account or e-wallet, please see attached guidelines for
next step.

Please note that due to the quarantine, the application can only be submitted via the My.SSS
accounts through the SSS website. Employers without My.SSS accounts need to first create an
account to submit the application.
