Refrigerant Retrofit Kit Offering for LCU Split Systems

What: Deliver low cost LCU split system solution. Opportunity to match new R-22 TWE
models we have in inventory (as well as previously installed TWE units manufactured
2004 to present) with new R-410A TTA models.

How: BAYTXV kits are now available. These kits allow the installing contractor to simply and
easily retrofit R-22 TWE models, by removing and replacing factory R-22 metering
devices with R-410 compatible valves.

When: These kits are available for order today.

Suitable Applications:

• Existing installations where TTA requires replacement, but TWE is operating without
any issues (and has a serial number beginning with 4 thru 9).

• New or existing cooling only application where first cost is the decision driver and Trane
has required TWE equivalent model still available in R-22 inventory (see list below for
models, quantities, and pricing, but contact NDC to confirm model and quantity
availability prior to ordering).

• Any Cooling only R-410a application can use converted R-22 AHU’s with the proper
conversion kit.

Heat Pump applications are not recommended.
