Outlook Email Setup Tutorial – March 31st, 2020

STEP 1

a. Open your internet browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, or Safari)
b. In the address bar (see highlighted in RED), enter www.office.com and click Go or Enter
STEP 2

a) You will be carried to office.com.


b) Click “Sign In” in the white box
Step 3

a) Enter your new email in the box below Sign In (e.g. k.sylvester@catholictt.org)
b) Click NEXT
Step 4

a) Once you’ve entered a valid account on our system, you will then see an image of the Cathedral in the background and the message
saying, “Welcome on behalf of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Port of Spain….”
b) Enter the temporary password in the field below Enter Password that you were provided e.g. Fk1f0k3
c) Click Sign In
Step 5

a) In the first field, enter the same temporary password again


b) In the second and third field, enter your new password. Remember, it needs to be at least 8 characters long and must contain a Capital
Letter and/or at least one number of symbol (e.g. !, @, #, $ etc.)
c) Click Sign In
Step 6

a) The above message will appear. You can choose to click the check box or not. If you select No, when you sign in on the same device in
the same internet browsers, it will prompt you for the password every time you log in.
b) If you select Yes, you will not be prompted for the password on that device on that internet browser.
c) This option is a matter of preference and security. If you used a shared device, it is advised to click No
Step 7

a) You will now reach this Dashboard, please click on Outlook


Step 8

a) On your first sign in, you will be prompted to select time zone
b) Select (UTC-04:00) Georgetown, La Paz, Manaus, San Juan
c) Click Save
