the Dhana Bhava (2nd House)
1. Mesha: Gain wealth from righteous deeds. Amicable
disposition, virtuous, blessed with male children, endowed
with cattle, fond of company of scholars.
2. Vrshabha: Gain wealth from agriculture, work in the area of
animal husbandry, collector of gold, pearl and precious
gemstones.
3. Mithuna: Gain wealth from women, endowed with silver,
gold, horses etc. fond of company of sadhus and righteous
people.
4. Karka: Gain wealth from trees, timber and forests, danger
from water, fond of eating forest produce such as roots, tubers,

gain gold, pearls and precious gemstones; gain elephants,
horses and various kinds of paraphernalia.
7. Tula: Gain wealth through handwork and honesty, wealth
from stones, soil, sand, sheer hard-work, agriculture or food
business etc.
8. Vrschika: Follower of own Kuladharma (profession running
in the family) or family business, ever attracted towards
beautiful women, speaks in a peculiar manner, devoted
towards brahmins and devatas (god fearing).
9. Dhanu: Gain wealth from juices or real-estate properties
etc., gain from precious metals and gemstones, invested in
animal husbandry (cattle, horses, elephants, pets such as dogs
cats), honour and fame, interested in religious works.
10. Makara: Gain wealth from various means and through
serving the royal personages and king; gain from agriculture,
foreign connection etc.
11. Kumbha: Gain wealth from trade of flowers and fruits, gain
from both influential and great people and also normal people,
fond of looking after the sadhus, philanthropic and charitable.
12. Meena: Gain wealth through religious observances, fasting,
worship, or knowledge matters; gain through use of wealth
(investment, banking); also gain from wealth saved by the
parents.

the Sahaja Bhava (3rd House)
1. Mesha: 3.194. Friendly towards the Brahmanas,
philanthropic, pure hearted and fond of listening to spiritual
discourses such as Veda and Purana, knowledgeable in various
disciplines, honoured by the king.
2. Vrshabha: 3.195. Friendly towards the King, highly
valorous, highly charitable, highly celebrated and reknowned,
scholar, poetic, honours the Brahmins.
3. Mithuna: 3.196. Endowed with high class conveyances, fond
of women, honest and truthful, charitable, best among his
people, honoured by the king.
4. Karka: 3.197. Friendly towards the businessmen, interested
in agriculture, righteous behaviour, respectful towards spiritual
discourses, amicable disposition, full of self-respect and
dignity.
5. Simha: 3.198. Adventurous and valorous, friendly towards
wicked people, greedy for wealth, fond of violence (himsa),
fond of malevolent discourses, rude speech, lack self-respect.
6. Kanya: 3.199. Fond of study of the scriptures, amicable
disposition, get angry due to provocation by friends, dear to the
Brahmins, devoted to the Devatas and the preceptor.
7. Tula: 3.200. Friendly towards sinful people, unsteady
(chanchala) nature, fond of listening to speeches of unsteady or
vacillating nature, fond of company of many people, endowed
with less children.
8. Vrschika: 3.201. Friendly towards sinful, poor, ungrateful,
violent, quarrelsome, purposeless people and also those
involved in anti-social behaviour or activities.
9. Dhanu: 3.202. Minister, extremely valorous, serving the
king, always cheerful in the mind, speech and righteous work,
fully faithful towards the king, expert in politics.
10. Makara: 3.203. Very soft natured (peaceful, amicable),
endowed with children and grandchildren. Highly hospitable
towards friends, devata, guru. Wealthy, highly talented scholar.
11. Kumbha: 3.204. Knowledgeable in sprirtual observances
(vrata vidhaan), celebrated, renowned, forgiving, honest and
truthful (satyavadi), fond of music, friendly towards cow
herdsman, friendly towards wicked people (dushtajana).
12. Meena:3.205. Wealthy son, endowed with much blessings,
hospitable towards guests, dear to everyone.

the Sukha Bhava (4th House)
1. Mesha: (3.206) Comforts and happiness from animal, two
women (spouses), various kinds of luxury items, many kinds of
food and drinks, wealth earned with self-effort, massage (spa)
and physical exercises.
2. Vrshabha: (3.207) Comforts and happiness from
honourable people, various kinds of luxury items, valour and
enterprise, company of king, royal and influential people,
favourable trade; various kind of restraints, religious
observances.
3. Mithuna: (3.208) Comforts and happiness from water
sports with beautiful maidens, roaming in scenic places,
beautiful flowers and clothes.
4. Karka: (3.209) The native is of pleasant appearance, highly
lucky, well behaved towards women, blessed with many talents
and virtues, scholarly and humble, and dear to people.
5. Simha: (3.210) Devoid of happiness due to much anger,
company of poor and deprived people. They are endowed with
many girl children as well.
6. Kanya: (3.211) Get into company of wicked people for the
purpose of amassing wealth. Suffer agony due to company of
backbiters, thieves and swindlers.
7. Tula: (3.212) The native is soft natured and amicable, expert
in righteous deeds, scholarly and humble, ever blessed with
happiness and comforts, joyful mind and demeanour, and
blessed with wealth.
8. Vrschika: (3.213) Faces many danger, agitated mind and
disposition, fearful and afraid of others, serving mentality,
humiliated, fond of company of highly expert and intelligent
people.
9. Dhanu: (3.214) Fond of engaging into battles and war,
discussion and debates on battles and war, fond of horse riding
of special kind. Gain happiness from servicing the govt (army)
and completing own plans and undertakings.
10. Makara: (3.215) Comfort and happiness from water related
things and activities, gardens, bank of lakes and ponds,
company of friends, courtship and company of women.
11. Kumbha: (3.216) Comfort and happiness from company of
women, sweet preparation, various kinds of drinks, fruits,
vegetables, leaves (beetle leaves, spinach etc), scholarly talks,
and things which cause excitement (exited news, magic shows,
entertainment etc.).
12. Meena: (3.217) Comfort and happiness from water related
activities, things originated from divine intervention
(devasamudbhava, pilgrimage), artefacts originated from
divine grace, beautiful garments, various kind of wealth.
Results of various Rasi falling in
the Suta Bhava (5th House)
1. Mesha: Gain happiness from love and affection towards the
near and dear ones, and also the children. However, he is of
anxious mind due to inclination towards sinful deeds
(papakaaryaanurakta).
2. Vrshabha: Gain company of a wife who is highly fortunate
(subhagaam), beautiful (surupaam), endowed with splendour
(bahkaantiyuktaam), devout and committed towards the
native, however, barren (apatyahina).
3. Mithuna: Endowed with children (apatya) who give mental
happiness and peace to the native, of amicable disposition,
good mannered, talented and virtuous, mirthful, and endowed
with physical strength.
4. Karka: Endowed with Sons who are going to be famous,
giving contentment and mental satisfaction to the native,
highly celebrated, great personality (mahanubhaav), wealthy,
and endowed with knowledge and humility (vidyavinayena
yuktan).
5. Simha: Endowed with children who are of cruel nature,
having pleasant and bright eyes, fond of eating flesh
(maansapriyan), fathering daughters, aggressive temperament,
fond of living abroad, and having hunger that is never satisfied.
6. Kanya: Usually daughters are born who are barren, dear to
their husband, inclined towards righteous acts, wise
(pragalbha), far from sinful activities (prashaantapaapa), fond
of ornaments.
7. Tula: Endowed with children who are of good nature
(sushila), of pleasant appearance (manohara), inclined towards
own duties and hardworking, and having pleasant eyes.
8. Vrschika: Usually Sons are born who are highly fortunate
(saubhagyashaali), of good nature (shshila), far from any vices,
full of love and affection and, inclined towards the dharma
(duties and obligations) of own kula (lineage).
9. Dhanu: Endowed with children who are attracted towards
mythical horses, adept in horse riding and archery, destroyer of
enemies, service minded (social service), and honoured by the
kind.
10. Makara: Endowed with Sons who are wickedly disposed
(paapamati), of unpleasant appearance (kurupa), eunuch,
inclined towards vicious acts, lack influence, cruel and hard
hearted, and bereft of love and affection.
11. Kumbha: Endowed with Sons who are steady minded,
seriously involved in some undertaking, highly honest and
transparent, famous, incredible tolerance towards pain and
suffering, highly pure and righteous (punya), famous (yasha),
and authority over others (prabhutavaan)).
12. Meena: Endowed with Sons who are of ruddy but fair and
pleasant appearance. However, if the Rasi is occupied by
Papagrahas, then the children are sickly, of unpleasant
appearance, laughable, and always in the company of women.

Results of various Rasis falling in


the Shatru Bhava (6th House)
1. Mesha: (3.230a) Enmity with almost all kinds of people.
2. Vrshabha: (3.230b) Conflict with or outcast by own
people (nijabandhuvarga) due to involvement with women
equivalent (in age) own children (apatyamaargakamininam
sango).
3. Mithuna: (3.231) Discord on account of women. Discord
with people involved in sinful acts, trading community, and the
followers of vicious people.
4. Karka: (3.232) Discord on account of too much love with
children, due to backbiting habits, brahmins and knowledge
workers, kingly and influential people, great people
(mahapurusha).
5. Simha: (3.233) Discord with own kinsmen on account of
daughter. He also suffers sudden loss of wealth due to activities
such as gambling, or on other women.
6. Kanya: (3.234) Devoid of enmity, however, loses all wealth
and becomes poor on account of company with wicked women,
extremely beautiful prostitutes, and women who orphaned.
7. Tula: (3.235) Discord with own kinsmen and in the house
on account of materials originating out of ground and company
of righteous people and performance of righteous deeds.
8. Vrschika: (3.236) Discord with talebearers, or on account
of insects having sting such as scorpion, serpent, deer, a gang
of thieves, influential and established people, and luxuriant
people.
9. Dhanu: (3.237) Discord with archers, sickly people, on
account of horses, elephants, righteous acts, and with swindlers
and deceptive people.
10. Makara: (3.238) Discord on account of wealth matters,
discord with own kinsmen due to long lasting discord at home.
They receive support from some good natured people.
11. Kumbha: (3.239) Discord with kingly and influential
people, people who live on water (fisherman, navy people etc.)
and local government officials, on account of matters
originating from water bodies such as lakes, ocean, rivers,
ponds and reservoir i.e., fishes, shells, pearls etc.
12. Meena: (3.240) Discord on account of children, garments,
women, own thoughts and ideas, views and opinions of others,
and wellbeing of self and others.

the Saptama Bhava (7th House)
Mesha: (3.241) Spouse’s characteristics are cruel, wicked, engaged in sinful acts, hard-hearted, unkind,
greedy for wealth, and lack discipline in life.

Vrshabha: (3.242) Spouse’s characteristics are beautiful appearance, humble and modest, peaceful,
devout, virtuous, expert in various art forms, devoted to gods and brahmins.

Mithuna: (3.243) The native is blessed with a good spouse, wealthy, well mannered, handsome, highly
talented, humble and modest, and he stay away from associations.

Karka: (3.244) The native has company of many women who are beautiful, talented, soft natured, pure
hearted and spotless reputation and honour the native’s wishes.

Simha: (3.245) Spouse’s characteristics are aggressive nature, wicked, quarrelsome, fond of discord,
unkempt, dependent on others, greedy for wealth, not hard working, and physically weak.

Kanya: (3.246) Spouse’s characteristics are beautiful appearance, bereft of sons, good fortune, marital
happiness, pleasures in life, engaged in politics, sweet speech, honest and truthful, persevering.

Tula: (3.247) Spouse’s characteristics are proud on one’s own talent, righteous acts, follow dharma,
disciplined, many sons, extremely kind and forgiving, highly talented. The native is in company of many
such women.

Vrschika: (3.248) Spouse’s characteristics are engaged in various art forms, miserly, fully educated,
devoid of empathy, love and affection, blemishes in nature that forebode misfortunes.

Dhanu: (3.249) Spouse’s characteristics are extremely wicked, devoid of good behaviours, shameless,
cover other’s blemishes, quarrelsome, arrogant and snobbish.
Makara: (3.250) Spouse’s characteristics are arrogant and proud, lowly natured, greedy, cruel, wicked,
sorrowful.

Kumbha: (3.251) Spouse’s characteristics are extremely wicked, devoid of good behaviours, every happy
on account of devas and brahmins, protector of dharma, endowed with honesty, truthfulness and
kindness.

Meena: (3.252) Spouse’s characteristics are blemished (due to sickness), wicked sons, wicked natured,
follower of own’s dharma, devoid of empathy, love and affection, interested in exquisite art forms.

Results of various Rasi falling in


the Dharma Bhava (9th House)
1. Mesha: Involve in charitable acts pertaining to animals, for
instance looking after cows and cattle (goshala), charity for
animals, looking after them with empathy and compassion.
2. Vrshabha: Blessed with great wealth, donate many kinds of
things on charity, donate cows (to poor people), donate
previous gems and ornaments, various kinds of garments, and
food.
3. Mithuna: Involve in hosting and looking after guests,
feeding brahmins, charity for the poor and downtrodden,
becomes the keeper of dharma through many kinds of
righteous, charitable and philanthropic activities.
4. Karka: Pilgrimages, visit these places or stay there for long
time, live in solitude or in a forest (for spiritual practices),
follow the dharma through various forms of fasting and
religious observances.
5. Simha: Accept the dharma of others and abandon own
dharma. Even after indulging in various unrighteous acts,
considers himself an exalted soul, bereft of humility and
gratitude.
6. Kanya: Indulge in observances of stri-dharma (cross-
gender), complete lack of faith and devotion (atheist), external
show-off, follower of a different ideological or religious path
(than own).
7. Tula: Looking after contentment of devatas and Brahmanas
(giving them food, shelter and looking after their needs), do
astonishing acts on account of requests from people, doer of
famous religious or righteous acts.
8. Vrschika: Indulge in cruel deeds, inflicting pain on others,
looking after people (giving them food and shelter), bereft of
devotion, indulge in faith or path that is show-off.
9. Dhanu: Looking after contentment of devatas and
Brahmanas (giving them food, shelter and looking after their
needs), follower of the path given in the spiritual scriptures and
also one that is created by the self, attain fame like the ocean in
the 3 lokas.
10. Makara: Show valour by conducting acts that are bereft of
righteousness. After humiliating failures, the person returns
back to his Kula-dharma (the actions prescribed for his lineage
and dynasty) i.e., Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra.
11. Kumbha: Follower of one of the main paths of worshipping
i.e. those of pancha-devatas, Shaiva, Vaishnava, Shakta, Saurya
and Ganapatya traditions. Involve in righteous acts pertaining
to conservation or trees, forests and vegetation, public activities
(construction of hospitals, libraries, institutions etc), plantation
in gardens and orchards, and construction of water reservoir
(for benefit of people).
12. Meena: Engage in many kinds of righteous acts, rightly use
various kinds of resources and wealth for the benefits of noble
souls, construction of parks and water reservoir (for benefit of
people), and undertake pilgrimages.
Results of various Rasi falling in
the Randhra Bhava (8th House)
1. Mesha: Acquire sickness from overseas, becomes
unconscious on account of remembering old events, great
wealth, but highly miserable.
2. Vrshabha: Death in own house due to kapha (phlegm)
troubles, or death on account of excessive eating, animals, or
company of vicious people, particularly at night time.
3. Mithuna: Death through unnatural means (enmity,
accidents etc.), on account of gains (due to fights arising from
gains, dacoity etc.), use of chemicals, sexual diseases, or those
in anus, or through prameha (frequent urination, diabetes etc.)
etc.
4. Karka: Death due to drowning in water, on account of
poisonous creatures such as snakes, scorpions etc., or
murdered by someone in a foreign land.
5. Simha: Death on account of snakes or such creatures
(sarisrpa), thieves, attack by wild animals in a jungle.
6. Kanya: Death on account of excessive pleasures (excessive
drinking or eating etc.), unsteadiness of mind, murdered by
wife, partaking of uncooked food or unbalanced diet, or death
in the home on account of a lady.
7. Tula: Death account of other humans, or through excessive
fating, due to excessive anger, or show of courage, particularly
at home and at night.
8. Vrschika: Death on account of diseases caused by blood
disorder, insects or worms (such stomach worms), sting of
poisonous insects, or other forms of poisoning, particularly at
home.
9. Dhanu: Death on account of injuries caused by arrows or
missiles, diseases of hidden parts i.e., those of genitals or anus,
attack of animals, drowning in water, particularly at home.
10. Makara: It is not mentioned how the person with this Rasi
in the Randhra meets his death. It is however, mentioned that
one having Makara in the Randhra Bhava is scholarly, full of
self-respect, dignified, highly talented and virtuous, lustful,
having a broad chest, expert in the usage of weapons, and
talented in various forms of arts.
11. Kumbha: The house and properties are destroyed due to
fire. His death happens on account of various kinds of injuries,
wounds, skin eruptions, boils etc., or diseases caused by vata
troubles, or excessive physical exertion, particularly outside
home.
12. Meena: Death on account of diarrhoea or loose motion,
fever caused by pitta disor

the Karma Bhava (10th House)
1. Mesha: (3.277). Engage in many unrighteous (adharmic)
activities, extremely wicked, backbiter, lack gratitude,
humiliating character among a group of gentleman.
2. Vrshabha: (3.278). Engage in much expenditures,
empathy and humility towards good people, brahmans,
scholars, devata, guests, affection towards own people and
kinsmen.
3. Mithuna: (3.279). Receive upadesa (advise and guidance)
from the preceptor, increase one’s honour and reputation,
affectionate towards people, engage in agriculture or similar
activities,
4. Karka: (3.280). Constructs water reservoir, gardens and
orchards, plantations etc. empathetic, compassionate, kind,
pure and bereft of guile.
5. Simha: (3.281). Engage in terrible, sinful and ugly acts,
high arrogance, murderer and ever prone to insults.
6. Kanya: (3.282). Work like an unwise person, engage in
activities that is against own wife and the king (govt.), lack
sexual drive, poor among an assembly of ministers.
7. Tula: (3.283). Engage in large-scale trade and business
activities, adept in politics, engage in activities pertaining to
good and gentle people.
8. Vrschika: (3.284). Engage in activities that are for the
benefit of the mankind, and those approved by general
populace, spend on matters pertaining to Devata, Preceptor,
Brahmins, Scholars etc., unkind, bereft of the knowledge of
acting in a manner appropriate with the circumstances.
9. Dhanu: (3.285). Engage in many kinds of income
generating activities, philanthropic, behave like a a king in his
eating habits, blessed with landed properties and fame.
10. Makara: (3.286). Engage in acts that require great valour,
courage and adventure, unkind, blessed with the company of
siblings and friends, bereft of dharma, supported by wicked
people.
11. Kumbha: (3.287). Believe on the supremacy of action
(over intention), expert in deceiving and swindling others,
greedy, untrustworthy, go against the wishes of the general
populace.
12. Meena: (3.288). Fixed over the dharma specified by the
lineage (kola-dharma) i.e., following the livelihood of
continuing in the lineage, blessed with good reputation and
fame, serve the Brahmins and scholars with joy and glee!

Results of various Rasi falling in


the Labha Bhava (11th House)
1. Mesha: (3.289) Gains through quadrupeds, serving the
king or the sovereign, and much financial gains through
serving in a foreign land.
2. Vrshabha: (3.290). Financial gains through influential
people, women, noble people, from some lowly work, serving
the holy cow, and religious (dharma).
3. Mithuna: (3.291). Blessed with much financial gains, kind
towards women and wife, gains through collection of expensive
artefacts, things used for sitting (chairs, sofas etc.), and attain
reputation and fame among the businessmen.
4. Karka: (3.292). Blessed with much financial gains through
serving influential people, agriculture, study and practice of
profound sciences, serving the noble souls.
5. Simha: (3.293). Gains through lowly (vicious) acts,
through killing of people, or binding them, physical exercises,
sports, bodybuilding, wrestling, activities requiring frequent
change in place (army, police etc.).
6. Kanya: (3.294). Gains through practice of the spiritual
scriptures and Vedas (knowledge based work), through
humility, serving others through extraordinary discernment
(advising and consulting work).
7. Tula: (3.295). Gains through various kinds of trade, and
happiness, satisfaction and contentment and excessive praise
through serving noble souls, through gratitude and humility,
8. Vrschika: (3.296). Fulfil owns objective and desires (and
also gain from that) through deception, swindling, sinful
activities, sweet speech (deceiving), backbiting and criticising
(or insulting) others.
9. Dhanu: (3.297). Enjoy many kinds of pleasures in the
company of the king and influentials, gain through serving the
noble souls, own capability, through spy and messenger (secret
agent).
10. Makara: (3.298). Gains through ships and ports (maritime
activities), living in a foreign land, serving the king. He is of
extravagant nature i.e., can’t save much wealth.
11. Kumbha: (3.299). Gains through vicious acts. Gain
company of noble souls who are sacrificing, engage in righteous
acts, valour and knowledge or scholarly activities.
12. Meena: (3.300). Gains through friends, honouring the king
(through some talent), speech, through love and empathy
(charitable acts towards the poor and downtrodden).

the Vyaya Bhava (12th House)
1. Mesha: (2.301). Spending on desirable food and clothing,
increasing the number of quadrupeds (cattle), gainful
undertaking, improvement of body fitness and vigour.
2. Vrshabha: (2.302). Spending on various kinds of
garments, company of women, gainful undertaking,
government deeds, showing influence, prowess and strength;
in trade of metals and minerals with capable people.
3. Mithuna: (2.303). Spending excessively on vices
pertaining to women, on account of troubles due to ghosts and
goblins, on evil and ugly deeds, company of vicious people,
looking after elephants.
4. Karka: (2.304). Spending on matters pertaining to Devata
and Brahmins, yajna (fire sacrifice) and spiritual practices.
Thus they gain praise from noble souls.
5. Simha: (2.305). Spending excessively on physical
appearance, children, vicious acts, fulfilling order of the king;
losses due to theft. Thus they are humiliated in the society.
6. Kanya: (2.306). Spending excessively on account of greed
towards women, marriage, auspicious events such as sacred
thread investiture ceremonies, and serving the pious (sadus).
7. Tula: (2.307). Spending on Devata, Brahmins, siblings and
kinsmen, on vedas, smrtis and such spiritual scriptures, on
following the practices of yama-niyama (ref: astanga yoga),
protection of children and wealth. He gains fame due to such
spending.
8. Vrschika: (2.308). Spending on account of remedying
troubles arising out of natural phenomenon (earthquake,
storms etc), supporting wicked friends, getting out of the
bondage from thieves and dacoits etc. The native is humiliated
and insulted in the society.
9. Dhanu: (2.309). Spending on account of swindling and
deceiving others, showing off in the company of vicious people,
serving and looking after people of own community,
agriculture.
10. Makara: (2.310). Spending on account of partaking food of
sinful people, associating with activities pertaining to own
community. The native is engaged in small scale agriculture,
lack of resources, and is humiliated in the society.
11. Kumbha: (2.311). Spending on account of serving the holy
feet of devata, saadhak (yogi), brahmins and tapasvis.
12. Meena: (2.311). Spending on account of wicked children,
food and drinks (alcohol etc.), litigations and travels.
