0      PURPOSE
The purpose of this note is to present instrument and utility air demand calculations.

2.0       BASIS
The instrument and utility air demand is estimated based on the following
guidelines. The instrument air system capacity shall comply with Section 21 of API
RP 552 and ISA 7.0.01:

a) 1 3/5 standard cubic meter per hour (1.6Sm3/hr) shall be used for pneumatic instrument component (eg LIC, PIC,LSHH,
etc).

b)    Seventeen standard cubic meter per hour (17Sm3/hr) shall be allowed for air motors, piston-type positioners, purge, and
blowback requirements (PV,LV, SDV,BDV etc).
