interest

9. Scalar chain
10. Order
11. Equity
12. Stability of tenure of personnel

1. Division of work or labour:
The work should be divided among the individuals on the basis of their
specializations. So as to ensure their full focus on the effective completion of the task
assigned to them.
2. Balancing authority and Responsibility:
The authority and responsibility are related to each other. Authority means the right to give
orders while the responsibility means being accountable. Thus, to whomsoever the authority
is given to exact obedience must be held accountable for anything that goes wrong.

3. Discipline:
The individuals working in the organization must be well-disciplined. The discipline
refers to the obedience, behavior, respect shown by the employees towards others.
4. Unity of command:
According to this principle, an individual in the organization must receive orders
from only one supervisor. In case an individual has the reporting relationship with
more than one supervisor then there may be more conflicts with respect to whose
instructions to be followed.
5. Unity of Direction:
According to fayol, the unity of direction principle implies that each group activities
having the some objectives must have one head and one plan. As distinguished from
the principle of unity of command, fayol perceives unity of direction as related to the
functioning of personnel.
6. Subordination of individual interest to general interest:
In any group, the interest of the group should supersede that of the individual. When
the interests differ, it is the function of the management to reconcile them.
7. Remuneration of personnel:
Fayol perceives that remuneration and methods of payment should be fair and also
should be able to afford the maximum satisfaction to employee and employer.
8. Centralization:
Although fayol does not use the term, Centralization of authority, his principle
definitely refers to the extent to which authority is concentrated or dispersed in on
enterprise. Individual circumstances determine the degree of centralization that gives
the best overall yields.
9. Scalar chain:
Fayol thinks of the scalar chain as a line of authority, a chain of superiors from the
highest to the lowest ranks. And, because it is an error of a subordinate to depart
needlessly from the lines of authority, the chain should be short-circuited.
10. Order:
Breaking the principle into material order and social order, fayol thinks of it as a
simple edge for everything. This organization is the principle, which refers to
arrangement of things and persons in an organization.
11. Equity:
Fayol perceives this principle as one of eliciting loyalty and devotion from personnel
with a combination of kindliness and justice in managers while dealing with
subordinates.
12. Stability of tenure of personnel:
Finding that instability is both the cause and effect of bad management, fayol points
out the dangers and costs of unnecessary turnover.

13. Initiative:
Initiative is conceived as the process of thinking out and executing a plan. Since it is
one of the keenest satisfactions for an intelligent man to experience, fayol exhorts
managers to sacrifice personal vanity in order to permit subordinates to exercise it.
14. Esprit de corps:
This principle implies that union is strength and an extension of the principles of
unity of command. Fayol here emphasizes on the need for teamwork and the
importance of communication in obtaining it.

According to me, every functioning plan makes well-organized work environment.

When we produce more product in one time ,
 To illustrates division of labor, modern businesses divide tasks as well.
Distribution of work allows workers to focus on the parts of the production
process where they have an advantage.people have different skills, talents, and
interest so they will be better at some jobs than at others.workers who
specialize in certain tasks often learn to produce more quickly. worker
participation in mamagement implies mental and emotional involvement
through compensation in enterprise.
 We should follow hierarchical organizational structure . it contains a direct
chain of command from the top of the organization to the bottom. For
instance, Horton corporation develops a wildly popular super widget that is in
strong demend in many areas. This widget is the only product that Horton
sells. The president decides to tightly control the quality of this super widget
by producing it in a single, large-scale facility, and selling it through a chain
of distributors. This calls for a hierarchical structure to control all aspects of
production and distribution.
 Rules and procedure are one thing which makes a company. If there would be
no rules in a company to follow then there would have been lots of chaos and
mess all around which would have only resulted in less than expected output.
