E-II
II Trimester (2010-2011)
Course Handout
L: 4 T: 1 P: 2
In terms of technical content, the student, upon successful completion of the course,
Should be able to:
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of continuous and discrete signals
and systems, signal transforms, and input/output relationships in linear
time-invariant systems.
• Understand the concept of time and frequency domain (spectrum)
representation.
• Simulate signals and systems on a computer and perform simple
processing of real world signals such as audio or image signals.
