Quarter 3
Quarter 3 is still my favorite quarter of the year! Now is when the
band gets to focus on the fundamentals of making music and
starts our spring literature. (Marching machine anyone?) Get
ready to hear more practicing as scale karate is going to be
introduced in high school and playing tests will be starting this
quarter in junior high.

Jazz Band Chocolate Bar Fundraising

We will be starting jazz band on
Friday mornings at 7:50am.
Please help arrange a ride for
your child if they would like to
participate in jazz band as it
cannot be scheduled during the
school day.
The chocolate bar fundraiser will be taking place this quarter for
our music tour. The next trip will be in 2020 and will include this
year’s 8th, 9th and 10th graders. (7th grade will travel in 2023).
Students receive 50% profit from this fundraiser. Letters will be
sent home with students regarding pre-ordering chocolate in
February.
