Student: Mihaila Cristina An I AMG, Grupa 2 PROFESSION OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
The profession of nurse is part of the most noble profession. It means team work, it means courage, dedication, it also means to forget your problems and needs, placing patients in a priority place, even before your family. This job means knowing patiently listening and understanding, advising the sick, inspiring confidence, understanding that all the actions you take are for their benefit, that what we do will ease their suffering and the quality of life will improve. Patients should find support in each of us, a warm, gentle soul, knowing that it is important for us to feel good, to be satisfied with the quality of the care provided. Patients should feel helpless without waiting for rewards, and the only compensation is that they feel better, that the pain has been removed or improved, and the smile that gives us is the most valuable thing. This profession gives you a spiritual fulfillment, a great joy that you can be helpful and helpful to a person in need who needs not only medications and investigations, but also a well-trained person, with respect for himself and his neighbors, who knows to offer a smile. A serene face conveys, in addition to peace of mind, confidence and professionalism. For me, the mysteries of this profession began in childhood better in primary classes when I became a '' little sister '' who took care of two elderly people (my uncle and aunt). At first it was a play, then things got worse and suddenly became reality, they were in treatment with hypotensive, digital and antirheumatic medication, my first responsibility was to distribute the medications that had to be administered over the course of a day for both, and when required we ask for help from a nurse-nurse. What has happened over the years has been a guide for my profession, and now, as I am, I am very proud and pleased to be able to help my peers and society and try to make my duty earnest, professionalism. Maybe I'm too demanding with me, but I think that's the only way I can maintain a balance in my life - offering affection, because it's a profession where you have to be sensitive, sharing empathy towards patients and treating them the way I want to be and I have treated myself, I believe loneliness is the most serious and mischievous disease.
