GULF SEA PETROLEUM (GSP) is a Bahrain-based petroleum marketing company dealing in petroleum
products for industrial and commercial usage. Founded in 1985 by Mr Ali Habib Jassim Alfardan under
the name Gulf Sea Trading, the company was initially dealing in chemical products and thereafter
expanded its operations from the local to the international market. It acted as an agent for several
international companies from China, Germany, Spain, India & Oman and built up a broad network of
buyers and sellers, regionally and internationally. In 2006, Gulf Sea International Brokerage was set up
to expand into the business of crude oil and its related products. After 10 years of brokerage
experience, the founder managed to obtain a license for a new company - GSP - to trade in petroleum
products.

GSP is a recognized distributor specializing in Commodity Brokerage, Lubricating Oils and Greases,
Liquefied Petroleum Gas and Compressed Natural Gas, Automotive Specialty Products, etc. The
company operates in both upstream and downstream of the energy industry. We supply Fuel Oil
(CST-180 / CST-380), D6 Virgin Fuel Oil, Automotive Gas Oil, Aviation Kerosene (JET A-1, TS-1), Russian
Origin Gas D2 Oil, Russia Origin 54 Jet Fuel Oil, Russian Origin Mazut M100 Oil, Russian Export Blend
Crude Oil, Ultra-Low Sulphur Diesel (50 PPM / 500 PPM), Russian Liquefied Natural Gas, Russian
Liquefied Petroleum Gas, European Diesel (EN 590), Petroleum Coke, Bonny Light Crude Oil, Gasoline
and Base Oil. We also supply Drilling Fluids and Mud Chemicals for the Oil and Gas Drilling and
Exploration and Mining industries.

MANAGEMENT
Mr Ali Habib Jassim Alfardan, the founder and Chairman
of GSP has over 30 years of experience in the chemical
and oil industry. It is through his extensive experience in
this field that he was able to obtain a license and establish
GSP. Mr Alfardan has acquired a vast network of reliable
contacts regionally and internationally.

To cope with the expansion strategy of the company and

to take advantage of the numerous opportunities present
in today’s markets, GSP enhanced its management team
in 2019 by appointing Mr Ali Zainal as Director Business
Development. Ali Zainal brings over 2 decades of
management experience to the company. He has worked
in senior positions with local, regional and international
companies.
