The cosmetics hides a terrible secret

 Introduction

According to the Cruelty Free International Association and the Dr. Hardwen Foundation in the UK,
it is estimated that more than 115 million animals a year are part of different cosmetic testing
processes. The tests carried out are to see that the ingredients and final products are not irritating
to humans. Animal experimentation should stop, is unnecessary, because currently there is no
need to experiment on them because the majority of the ingredients and combinations have been
tested and approved to be used in humans without any negative reactions
 Development

In cosmetic research painful experiments are carried out on hundreds of thousands of animals
every year, including rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and mice. The proposal, made by Senator Ricardo
Monreal, it is based on the UNESCO Universal Declaration of Animal Rights (October 15, 1978),
which states that no animal should be subjected to mistreatment or cruel acts, and that
alternative techniques to animal experimentation should be used and developed. It is important
that industries stop experimenting with animals, it is necessary that they turn to other existing
alternatives.

The world's most advanced scientists have gone on to develop and use methods to study
diseases and test products that replace animals. According to People for the Ethical
Treatment of Animals (2017) there are tests that use cells and human tissue (in vitro
methods), advanced computer modeling techniques (in silico models) and studies with
human volunteers to name a few examples. Research has shown that the existence of
these alternatives gives an alternative way to avoid experimenting with animals and stop
abuse.

 Explanation
Scott F. Gilbert claims that share 95% of genes with mice, making it a close model of the
human body. Research has shown that it is true, however there is a genetically similarity.
The human body does not necessarily react the same as an animal. According to Dr.
Martin (Fray,2014) the mice is not an exact model, but we can use it to compare how the
heart liver and neuronal logical system works. That in the cosmetic industry an animal
does not react the same as a human.

 Conclusion
Experimenting with animals is a grotesque and unnecessary act because there are
currently alternatives to avoid these tests, as well as there are reactions that have already
been tested and can be used in humans. The human body with an animal may have
similarities but will never react the same, that is why that in the world of cosmetology
cannot be compared
