women's contributions to the visual arts and ensuring that materials relating to women artists, curators,

WomArt Blog This round table focuses attention and bibliographic expertise on art scholarship from a multidisciplinary
approach. Its goal is to help scholars rediscover women in the history of the visual arts and encourage

librarians and visual resources curators to collect materials on women artists for their institutions.

The Roundtable was established in 1990. The original acronym was WaART, but was happily changed to
Related Internet Links WomART in 2001. The first moderators were Edith Crowe, 1990-91 and Sara MacDonald, 1992.
