EFFECT OF BABY DUMPING

Most cases of baby dumping in Malaysia are disposing the newborn baby into the trash
and leave them to the death. This shows the bad side of the people's humanity. It has become
wide and brings the negative views from society. Baby dumping brings a lot of negative effects
to the society. This case is a serious problem among teenagers in Malaysia. Mostly it involved
young generations in this case. This sort of action precisely would cause effects to the society,
whether to the individual herself or to the others. I have several effects of baby dumping here. I
wish it could be added for our knowledge.
Baby dumping effect to individual will experience disorder mental and emotion nervous
and guilt. They will always remember on offence that they have done. Perhaps they doing said
matter because has to only to close ashamed and not want to look after baby. They who are
involved in baby dumping will not ask medical aid from doctor. As example, they not ask for the
blood lost, germs infection and injury during delivery. In other side, this case also effect to the
child when they grow up. They will always think why their mother left him. This child also feel
sadness and confusion when he hears his friends talk about their mother.
The effect of baby dumping is also relate to religion. If baby dumping happen among
muslim, non-muslim will gave negative taught to us. They will not sure to to study and bring
closer to islam but they will put negative perception on the religion of islam. Allah says in al-
quran in surah Al-isra’ : and do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an
immorality and is evil as a way. In this surah, we can conclude that Allah forbid us to approach
unlawful sexual. So, as a muslim we must be a role model for them with our good moral. If we
do that, non-muslim wil not respect us.
Then, baby dumping also occurrence of collapse family institution. Harmony in family
also effected the sprinkle. That illegal deeds will make the parents feel ashamed of having child
like this because they think this child giving a bad name for their family. Besides, surrounding
neighbourhood those who definitely regard with a suspicion and negative with their family. This
case also effected the image of the surrounding communities. They would have embarrassed
and disappointed by what happened. Of course, teenagers will be blame in this case. This is
because of many young people involved in this activity. Indirectly, it has created a negative
perception of people outside on the creadibility of community in overcome baby dumping cases.
The effects of these problems need to be emphasized. It looks at the effects studied, of
course the malaysia can not afford to continue to compete with other countries as adolescents
continue to drift into this social problem. Therefore, all parties should work together to curb this
social phenomenon so that no more children born out of wedlock are abandoned and do not get
the proper affection
