Study and appreciation of literary texts from the different regions

Standards 1. regions in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao
2. major genres (poetry, fiction, drama, creative nonfiction, as well as
hyperpoetry, blogs, mobile phone Texttula, chick lit, speculative fiction,
flash fiction, etc.)

Specific Objectives:
At the end of the 60-minute lesson, the learners should be able to:
a. define literary devices and its types
b. single out the literary devices employed in the poem and quotes;
c. point out worthwhile human values underscored in the poem; and
quotes.
d. apply the essence of literary devices to real-life situation;
