Research Question​: How has fake news about the Thai government impacted the reactions of both the citizens and
the government and how has it created conflict between the two?

I chose this research question because it is a big question that can cover many key factors that the government is
responsible for. I think that fake news plays an important role in how Thai citizens see their government.

a. I chose this question because I can gather information about the perspectives of the citizens on their
government and how it created conflict within the country.
2. How has fake news has impacted Thailand and their citizens?
a. I chose this research question because I want to get the basic information about fake news that takes
part in Thailand only. It would be hard to find fake news itself so I would want reports on fake news in
Thailand. If I find the impact, I can relate from the normal perspective to how fake news has impacted it.

E. Reflection:
What was easy about the research process? What was done well?
The easy part about this process was the researching itself. I kind of have it planned on what topics I will be
researching. The thing that was done well was planning the topics to research based on the research questions
so all the information makes sense. Ex. I planned to point out the COVID-19 situation first then support the idea
with Students’ protests.

What was difficult about the research process? What could be improved?
The difficult part about this process was coming up with all the sub research questions. I feel like it was hard to
cover all the perspectives, conflict and having it all connected. I think it was hard to organize the information I
already know in order so that supports the main research question. Ex. I have all the information selected in my
head. All I have to do is come up with good sub research questions to make the information reasonable to be
explained.

What did you learn in regards to the information you found? What are you still curious about?
In this process, most of the information was already from me. All I need is just the sources to verify my
knowledge. One new thing I learned from this process was about the existence of the anti-fake news center. I
didn’t know the organization exists until I tried researching the solutions the Thai government came up with. I
don’t feel like I’m curious about this anymore because I already have too much about politics to think in my
head.
