4. Briefly write about general characteristics of helminthes.
5. Write various concentrations methods for stool. Write on formal ether concentration
method.
6. Discuss the principle & clinical applications of Immuno fluorescence technique.

Note: Attempt any TWO out of three

1. Describe the laboratory cultivation methods for viruses.


2. Enumerate the antigen antibody reactions. Describe in detail precipitation reaction &
its applications.
3. Define opportunistic mycoses. Enumerate fungi causing opportunistic infections.
Give laboratory diagnosis of Pneumocystis jirovecii.
