SOP (STATEMENT OF PURPOSE)

It often happens that the very best of our competencies, strengths and creativities are brought to action
when we willingly take on challenges. Right from my childhood, I have seen my father as a hardworking
and well determined self-employed businessman. He initiated as a very small shop owner but through his
will-power and never ending hard work, presently he is among the top self-employed businessmen in our
town. As I am a quick learner with an excellent grasping power and memory, I decided that I will take my
father’s business to new heights and for this; I chose commerce as my optional subject in class 11. Then I
pursued my graduation as B.COM (HONS.) in Accountancy and taxation from The IIS University and
post graduation as M.COM (ABST) from the Rajasthan University. My parents taught me that we face
obstacles towards achieving a goal but we shouldn’t back out and take it on as a challenge, solve it and
seize the opportunity to be in charge of destiny. This built up the power of self confidence and
determination inside me. As I pursued my career in commerce, accounts and finance related subjects were
my firepower. I used to excel in capital markets, equity, foreign exchange, banking and other skill areas in
finance. I learned from reading the profiles of topmost business leaders and entrepreneurs. I attended
many seminars and conferences during graduation.

This made me realize that to attain my long term aspirations of building up a company of my own in the
field of baby products (as in India, it is monopolized by one or two companies only), I have to go for
MBA in Finance. Therefore I decided to get my feet wet soon after pursuing graduation and applied for
C-MAT exam.

But, to achieve something big we have to execute it in small steps. So, I do have short term goals which
represent my skills of planning and successful execution. It includes attaining a respectful job as a senior
associate in any of the top companies. It will help me to gain the much needed experience as well as I will
earn a good amount of capital for executing my future plans. This will broaden up my perspective to face
challenges and bring in unlimited opportunities to innovate. Also, I will try to help other entrepreneurs
like me to achieve their own dreams. This will provide me with utmost satisfaction.

out of thousands of students during placements. It will help me to develop International business
operations understanding and will help me to unlock my inconspicuous abilities and strengths and render
them to the recruiters.
