Job description:

 Translates all the requested documents from English into Arabic and vice versa.
(Documents received from CEO office, legal department, Marketing and communication
department, HR department, Finance department, Business Planning and Licensing dep.
…). This required to:

- Read given material in English and research industry-specific terminology, ascertains


understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into Arabic
language, making sure to preserve the original meaning, and vice versa.

- Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of


translation

Job description:

Playing the role of external communicator of the Program, I used to:


 Translate all the Program's documents into Arabic, including letters, manuals,
forms, and announcements.
 Take the initiative to translate correspondences from Arabic into English to keep
the Program's Director updated.
 Ensure the simultaneous translation during orientation sessions, Program's
meetings and whenever it is needed.
 Assist in developing employers’ database to increase student opportunities for
externship.
 Network with local business owners to establish relationships and build rapport.
 Keep accurate records pertaining to externship sites.
 Assist in maintaining contact with local employers to obtain information on
externship opportunities, to develop and enhance working relationships, and to facilitate
