‘The Savior Pak Hitam’

Last Sunday evening Pak Hitam and her daughter Mawar were travelling along the Broga
Hill by their car. They like to see the views of the big and thick wooden stem trees on the both
sides of the road. The hill also was surrounded with thick fog that time until Pak Hitam can’t see
clearly the road lines. Pak Hitam has to use the vipers while driving. Suddenly they saw a car
involved in self accident beside road. The car was skidded due to slippery surface of the road.
Pak Hitam stopped his car at the road side to help the victim. Pak Hitam step out from the car
and approach the skidded car. Mawar were afraid and picked the knife that they bring along to
cut the fruits and hold it tightly. Pak Hitam opened the front door of the skidded car. He found a
young boy is suffering in pain in the driver seat. He introduced his name as ‘Razi’. Razi explained
that he was walking inside the forest to take some wild life pictures. He saw a huge python
inside a bush. The python were laying many eggs that time. Razi try to take the picture of the
python laying eggs. Suddenly, the python turn to him and started chasing him. He ran quickly
and get into his car and start to drive the car fast. His car lose control and skidded to the
roadside. Pak Hitam after listen to Riza’s story, he take out his smart phone and called the
rescue team. There was only 30% of battery power left in his phone. The boy also explained
that he lost a lot of energy during the incident and there is no food with him to eat. Pak Hitam
asked Mawar to cut some fruits for Razi to eat. Razi felt much better after consume few cuts of
fruits. Once the rescue team arrived, the doctor checked him if there any serious injuries. The
doctor applies some antiseptic cream at the area of the wounds to avoid infections. Then the
boy were bring down to the nearest hospital for further treatment. Pak Hitam and Mawar drive
back home safely.
 ‘Puteri’s Summer Camping.’

Last summer holiday Puteri and his brother Awang joined a camping activity organized
by their school Leo Club which is held at National Park. They travel by the school bus to the
National Park. While travelling in the bus, Puteri and her friends make some discussion on the
Science lesson topic ‘stimuli’ as preparation for their upcoming exam after the summer holiday
ends. Once arrived at the National Park, the participants were divided into five groups. Their
first task is to set up the camp and arrange their things inside the camp. The weather inside the
park is so warm and chill even though the sun is shining brightly in the sky. Puteri closed her
eyes by her hands few times when feel dazzled accidently saw the sun in the sky while setting
up the camp. Puteri saw a flower garden near the camping area. There were many colorful
flower planted over there. By using the Science Process Skills the she learned in school, she
started to observe the flower plants. She smells the flower to get to know their smells. The
smell of the flowers was very calm and relaxing. Suddenly, Puteri get shocked heard the loud
sound came from the camping area. She closed her hears tightly by her hands. The camp
facilitator called all the participants to gather in front of the camping area using the heller. The
Facilitator announced the second task for the day. As the second task of the day the
participants were asked to prepare food for their dinner by using the things prepared by the
organizer. Puteri’s group members decided to cook ‘Mee Goreng’ as their dinner meal. While
cooking, Puteri shout in pain after her right hand skin accidently touched a hot pot. She quickly
remove her and from that hot pot and met the facilitator to get treatment. After had their
dinner, they attend the camp fire activity. Suddenly the rain started to drizzle. After the activity
the participants return to their camps to sleep. Puteri felt so cold due the cold weather because
of the rain. She uses the blanket to cover her body. She felt more warmer and had a wonderful
sleep that night.
