Subject Title: Introduction to World Religions and Belief Systems
Topic: “Judaism”

Lesson Objectives:
The learners demonstrates understanding of:
a. Recite the Ten Commandments as stated in the Old Testament
b. Distinguish the different Jewish practices and beliefs; and
c. Tell how Jewish festivals and celebrations center’s around important events in the history of
the Jews.

ESSENTIAL UNDERSTANDING
1. Judaism is one of the oldest monotheistic religions in the world that originated in West Asia.

example to the world of their moral behavior.
