Experts have reviewed the data
and Western NY will enter
Phase III tomorrow.
The Capital Region is expected to
move to Phase III Wednesday.
Phase 3 Guidance: Restaurants/Food Services
• 50% maximum occupancy indoors, excluding employees
• All tables indoors or outdoors separated by 6 ft. or with
physical barriers
• Employees must wear face coverings at all times
• Customers must wear face coverings, except when seated
• Maximum of 10 people at each table
• Clean/disinfect reusable menus between use, or display online,
TV, or with chalkboards.
Phase 3 Guidance: Personal Care Services
• 50% maximum occupancy
• Employees must wear face coverings when interacting with customers
• Customers must wear face coverings at all times
• 6 ft. distance between individuals at all times, except during service
(e.g., manicure, massage, tattoo)
• Prohibit services that require removal of face coverings (e.g., facials)
• Close waiting rooms;
• Employees providing services must be tested every 14 days while
region is in Phase 3
