• Distance learning occurs when the teacher and learner are not
in the same physical location
• Blended learning a combination of face-to-face instruction and

• Four Factors determining what is “fair use”:
– Purpose and character of the use, including whether
such use is for a nonprofit educational purpose
– Nature of the copyrighted work

relation to the copyrighted work
– Effect of the use on the potential market for or value
of the copyrighted work
