Before reading this, please note that this conversation is based on logic only. No
hadeeth or any verse from the Quran has been written in it. If found anything wrong,
do tell me and I will correct it. Any opinion of yours would be highly appreciated. I
know that drawing Muhammad is prohibited for the reason of to not worshiping him
but I made this to explain all the drawings made for unworshiping reasons like in
story books to tell the children about how he was, about his seerah (history).
Drawings made for education purposes which is still wrong. :)

Christian:
Hey bro, can you explain to me why can't Muslims draw a picture of Muhammad? Not to worship
him but only to put the drawings into story books to tell the stories of Muhammad so that it's
easier to understand his teachings.

Muslim:
Because of perfection. Muhammad is the only human being ever walked on earth that is perfect.

Christian:
What do you mean?

Muslim:
Can you imagine what perfection is for you? Physically, mentally and in all aspects.

Christian:
Well, for me physically one must have a very healthy body and his mind can never be confused of.

Muslim:
That's it.

Christian:
But it's still drawable. I mean his physical. A perfect healthy body, a perfect face and all.

Muslim:
For a very fat man, a perfect healthy body means to have a thinner body and vice versa. For some

perfect face but others might think otherwise. They might be thinking that they can find someone
much better than you. The word 'perfect' have different meaning for every each human being.
You can draw my face but having the exactly same opinion about that drawing from everyone is
impossible.

Christian:
What about Jesus then? And Buddha and all other 'holy men' of a religion?

Muslim:
Jesus was a Muslim prophet. Only that we call him Isa A'laihissalam and no Muslim on earth has
ever draw him. We Muslims never know how our prophets was. And Muslims have never draw
other 'holy men' too. By that I mean to describe them by drawing. If you're drawing Mona Lisa, it
must be based on Da Vinci's painting right? Because you have never met her and never know who
exactly is Mona Lisa. By that painting, Da Vinci has described to you how Mona Lisa looks like.
And the same thing goes to all painting or sculptures of Jesus, Buddha and all.

Christian:
You mean we are doing something wrong by drawing Jesus?

Muslim:
No, that's not what I meant. Your religion is yours and my religion is mine. It's up to you. Your
view of Jesus is different than ours. :)
