staff they are very lenient but when it comes to the major department like Front Office
staff and others that required a higher educational level of education they are very strict
with it. Since they are the one who’ll be the front liner. Thus, the company is very lenient
in hiring a staff there are still ways on how they would assess whether someone will be
a good fit for the company, both as a high-performer and as a cultural fit. While not
every innovative hiring process will be right for the company, you can learn from
companies who have paved the way and provided data for the rest of us. Here are a
few strategies they consider in hiring a staff Personal Interviews and Internships. Most
of the employees that they have are working students especially when it is their Peak
Season.
Training and Development of staffs in a company is a necessity since this will
help their staff to know what to do and how to act in a certain situation. They have taken

having a hard time on training their employees since they are seasonal so the people
are come and go, but they do have the skeletal work force that they maintain and well

company they also have a procedure about it. They give sanction depends on how
minor or major offenses the employees have done. Also, since we are in a modern
generation to upgrade the skills and knowledge of every employee they implement a
rotation of work for them to know not only one work knowledge but to know how to multi
task and use they ability in all sense possible. This helps their employees to show their
full potential and give the best of their abilities. Handling so much stress in work one of
the company. In behalf of all this the company is giving a Mid-year event for all the
employees for them to have a good time and have time to relax after all the hard work
that they have given in the company. This is one way of giving back to all employees
and rewarding them for their loyalty and trust to the company.

Villa Prado Pool and Beach Resort has a lot of great features when it comes to
Human Resource Management. First, they are very lenient when it come to their
employees and giving them so much credit that sometimes they don’t follow the proper
procedure on how they managed to employees. Secondly, being involved in a
community is one of their good practice and community involvement. The third one is,
having social responsibility that is one of the important in a company. Also accepting
senior citizen, solo parent and part time job students gives them so much credit. Villa
del Prado have grown and grown for years and it always amaze everyone how they
continue the legacy of their parents on helping their community first. The love that they
giving to their employees and treating them like a family in that way the employees their
loyalty and trust to them.

Recommendations

Some of the things that I have noticed in their Human Resource Management is
they don’t have a handbook to follow and I think they need to do so. To long way to go
for them to have a proper human resource procedure since there are some of things to
consider when it comes to their employees. Looking back to each and every word that
we have talk to I have noticed about the leniency, yes it is one of their good features but
they must have a limit with regards to this matter. I know not in just one snap everything
will be change especially when they have already focus on the culture that they have.
This thing may consider for better and growth of the company. Sometime being so
lenient in every one is not a good thing because some may abuse this kind of activity.

Conclusion

If the organization is dedicated to Human Resources best practices and tries to


follow certain principles, they could see higher employee retention and happier
employees who contribute their best. The HR practices of the company can be the
highlight of the business by implementing flexibility and training within the HR
department. Best practices are a set of Human Resources Management processes and
actions that work universally. In HRM research, there are two schools of thought on how
to manage people. The first one is best fit, the second is best practices.
The best fit school states that in order to add value, human resource policies should
align with business strategy. This means that HR should focus on both the needs of the
organization and the ones of its employees. When implemented, these best practices
form the basis of good Human Resource Management. However, implementation alone
isn’t enough. These best practices also need to align with what the rest of the business
is doing.
Selective hiring is great but what kind of profiles do you hire? This depends on the
characteristics of employees that fit what the organization is looking for. And what
capabilities do you train your employees on? These should also align with the
organizational strategy. Only if the best practices that we have in HR are aligned with
what the organization is striving for can we create an HR function that adds value and
