Il faut faire le caractère le jour et heure de mars qui le

jour du mardi ausoleil levant et écrire la première
lettre de ton nom audemi cercle A et lapremière lettre
de ton surnom au demi cercle B au lieu de la lettre B
et quece soit sur parchemin vierge tu porteras le
caractère sur toi si tu es hommedu côté gauche dan ton
gousset, si tu es femme entre les deux mamelles.

Camael
Est sous la domination de mars il faut aussi l’invoquer
à onze heures etminuit du soir du mardi, il fera tout ce
que vous lui commanderez, soncaractère est ainsi.

HACHARIEL
Est sous Mercure, il s’invoque le mercredi à 10
heures, il vous fera avoir lapistole volante pour gagner
à toutes sortes de jeux, il vous portera partoutou vous
voudrez aller sans aucun péril ni danger, il vous
rapportera au lieumême où il vous a pris.

ZADKIEL
Est sous Jupiter à l’orient il s’invoque le jeudi entre
onze heures et minuitaussitôt il vous apparaîtra et

Est sous Vénus, il vous rend aimable et gracieux à tout

This is the true key that teaches true occult or mournful philosophy of causing the spirits to appear, to
make them obey, discover hidden treasures, have them brought where you want them and even having
whatever you want.

For the understanding of this book we must first know that there are several types of spirits of different
orders and powers. The Earth spirits are the Gnomes who are the guardians of the hidden treasures. We
will speak of their powers; the Nymphs reside in the waters, the Sylphs live in the air. The Salamanders
live in the region of fire, it must be noted that all spirits are under the domination of the seven planets.

Before speaking of spirits, you must instruct yourself in the powerful character which is the key to all
the work and without which no spirit will appear to you to do what you wish.

You are to make the seal at the day and hour of Mars which is Tuesday at sunrise and write the first
letter of your name in place of the half circled A and the first letter of your nickname in place of the
half circled B (instead of the letter[s A and] B) and upon blank parchment. you will bear the seal on
you, if you are a man - on the left in your pocket; if you are a woman - between the two breasts.

Then follows the names of the spirits and their princes, their ruling powers on every planet, who are like
royal princes and who have other spirits who obey them and do all that they command. The seven main
ones are:

PHUL & GABRIEL

Are under the domination of the moon; they are of the nature of water and air. Their spirits are
powerful, they give as much gold and silver as they like, they appear as soon as they are invoked; they
give you spirits that make you have all sorts of game and fish of whatever species that you want as well
as all kinds of precious stones such as that make you lucky at play and trade, they are invoked on
Mondays at the rising sun. Ttheir characters are such:
 PHALEG and SAMAEL
Are under the domination of Mars; they preside over war and armies, make you victorious in battle,
preserve you from all harm, and make you invulnerable to all sorts of weapons, whether at the fire or at
a point, They give you spirits who, with a company of fifty men they make an army of two hundred
thousand men appear, give terror to the enemies, and putting them to flight.

OPHIEL and MICHAEL

Are the intelligences of Mercury, they teach philosophy, music, playing all kinds of instruments,
medicine, give you the knowledge of all the herbs and also all metals and minerals, teach you the
philosopher's stone for the transmutation of metals to gold or silver, give you spirits that transport you
from one place to another.
Or transport you to where you want to go and make a speed of two hundred leagues in one hour
without fear or danger, they are of the nature of air and fire; they must be invoked on Wednesday at
sunrise. Their characters are thus

BETOR and SACHIEL

Are under Jupiter's dominion and are airy, that is, air, they make you lucky with kings, give you a purse
in which there is always gold and silver, give you spirit-familiers who do all that you command them,
ppear as soon as you invoke them on Thursday at sunrise. Their characters are:

HAGIT and RAPHAEL

Are under the power of Venus; of the nature of Venus, of the nature of the air. They preside over love
and over women, make you have the friendship of princesses and great ladies; making you get from
them all that you desire. They give you familiar spirits that give you precious stones and give you as
much gold and silver as you want, they are called at the rising sun on Fridays. Their characters are:

ARATRON and CASSIEL

Who are under the domination of Saturn and are of the earth, they are invoked at the first hour on
Saturday which is the last hour of the Friday after midnight; their power is over the hidden treasures
they will discover for you and bring them to you or give you anything you think or all that you ask for,
and give familiar spirits who faithfully serve you. Their character are as follows:
OCH and ANAEL
These spirits are igneous, that is, of fire and under the dominion of the sun, they are very docile and
good in their power, and on riches, and give you as much gold as you desire, they give you familiar
spirits who serve you faithfully in everything you order from them. They are of the nature of fire and
are invoked on Sunday at sunrise. Their characters are as follows:

When you want to operate and use those spirits that you have chosen to activate, you will in the manner
as we have described being in a convenient place and removed from the noise, you will make a circle
which we will mark later. Standing in the middle of the said circle you will make the following
conjuration having burned storax and benzoin in a new burner.

Conjuration

I beseech you N ... in the name of the great living God who made heaven and earth and all the contents
of them and by his only redeeming son of the human kind and by the holy spirit, the great comforter
and by the virtue of the Heavenly Inspirer that on the spot and without delay you must appear to me
under a pleasant shape without noise or lesion of my person, nor of my company, and that you answer
all that I will command you I conjure you by the great living God.

After saying this conjuration three times if the spirit does not appear to you it will be necessary to
continue for the next three days. It will not fail to appear to you, it will ask what you want from him, so

Hachariel
Is under Mercury, he is invoked on Wednesday at 10 o'clock, he will make you fly and to win all kinds
of games, he will carry you everywhere or you want to go without any danger or harm, he will bring
you back to the place from where he has taken you.
His character is such.
 Zadkiel
He is under Jupiter in the east he is invoked on Thursday between eleven o'clock and midnight, he will
appear to you and give you everything you ask him, he must not stay long with him.
His character is thus:

Haniel
Is under Venus, he makes you kind and gracious to everyone and especially, to the women and girls
from whom he makes you have the pleasure and to have of them what you desire he is invoked on
Friday.
His character is thus

Zaphziel
Is under Saturn in the west, he is invoked the night of Saturday between eleven hours and midnight of
the evening, he brings you as much gold as you want that he takes from the sea and from the hidden
treasures.
His character is such

Michael
Is under the sun, he is invoked on Sunday evening after the sunset, he comes as soon as you call him in
the shape of a young man with a crown on his head and usually gives you everything you want - gold
or silver, precious stones, pearls of all kinds; and brings you what is most precious in India.
His character is such

When you want to use the spirits; you must be pure and chaste three days, having taken white linen and
being in a room alone and without noise. You will light a fire in a stove and you will burn storax and
benzoin especially as the spirits like the good smells. Then you will make a circle as it is marked with
the Character of the spirits that you wish, which serve you. Mark it with chalk or coal in the circle.
Yyou will say three times the pater noster and the ave maria with the following also three times.

If the spirits do not appear to you after having said this prayer three times, you must continue two or
three days in a row at the same place, and at the same time - it will not fail to appear to you having seen
the one you wish you will discharge by these words:
