WITNESS POINT is defined as a notification operation in operation / produdion cycle marked by

the Al/Customer/TPl to excercise their option to witn€ss
and verify a specific operetion Further processing shall proceed where the Al/Customer/TPl do
not validate their option. The notification shall be documented in a manner acceptable to
Al/Customer/TPl, as applicable

HOLD POINT is defined asa verificatjon ofthe operation bythe requestinS authority
Al,Customer/TPl.Further processinS is prohibited until acceptance of the operation &

1 Performance testing will be carried out using Vfo panel. 154894 is used lor performance testint-Air Flow vs Pressure & Power
2 1SO14694 i3 uied lor vibration level acceptance. l3.8mm/s pk-pk for rigld mounting, 5.1mm/i pk-pk for flexible mountint).
Vlbratlon is measured at sgurce of orlgln l.e. on bearin8s fgr belt driven / cgupled driven blowers and on motor for dlrect drlven blgwers.
3 Bearlng temperatre rlse upto 50 Deg.C, is acceptable.
4 Sound Power level limlt wlll be as mentioned ln approved GA. { 2.3 dBA electrlcal nolse and shop floor noise i5 tenerally observed ln addltlon to
blower nolse). Sound Power level will be measured in lnlet and outlet closed condltlon.
5 Final painting is Seherally done after inspectlon and after recelpt ofdispatch clearance to avold handllng damage to palnting.

7 For fans with motor ratinS above 100 HP ( 75 Xw ) , the performance test wlll be conducted under derated condition - under lgw RPM
& fan curve ( at desi8n speed ) will be arrlved ai perlan lawr ror RPM correctlon.
8 power aeadlngs can not be compared for test under deaated conditlgn ( due to voltage varlatlon ) and
theoretlcal power curve wlll be consldered for reference.
