    <p>My name is ______, I come from a very traditional Chinese family,
    where culture is greatly stressed in the household.
    Growing up, I was taught to follow this culture, I followed it because it
    was the first thing I learned.
    Respect, morality, and maintaining a good reputation for the family are
    some of the most important practices of my culture.

    Chinese culture surrounds me everyday.


    Responsibilities at home from everyday chores to family obligations.
    I'm one of the caretakers for my parents who are unable to be fully self-
    reliant.
    They were my caretaker when I was young, and now it's my turn to do the
    same.
    Taking care of the elderly is first priority in my family.
    <p>Currently I am a sophomore at ______.
    I am a good student with a good grade point average.
    The university that I want to attend is ___________ because I want to
    major in software and there are many reasons why I have enrolled.
    I am also a hard working and dedicated student. I am a friendly, sociable
    person as well. Finally, I have condemned myself to be a success.

    Primarily, I am a passionate and dedicated student. I’ve always put my


    best in everything that I’ve done academically.
    I am not the type of person who gets put up to a big challenge and backs
    down.</p>
