Chapter 5

Conclusion & Recommendations

Conclusion:

• Success is defined in many different ways but free school bus aims to increase the
proportion of wider economic, social, and environmental (ISS) objectives. From this review
more can be concluded about how to improve choice , influence behaviour , and manage ,
administer school travel in municipality of Cortes.

• The first key issue is that in the past , the importante of social factors has been
under estimated in school travel planning. Social relationships between children , parent to
child, and between children with other adult including drivers, are very factors affecting travel
choices. Knowledge of safe, and efficient practices is important, but travel also needs to fit in
with family schedules , and be viewed as socially acceptance by the local community for change
to be achieve.

• Finally, it must be of concern that very few of the positive features of school bus
travel identified in the International research are reflected in the way buses are provided in
Municipality of Cortes. Eligibility for free travel is not clearly linked to need, buses, and bus
drivers not reinforce positive messages about public transport , and current provision requires
very substantial public finding. Bus travel to school needs to pick the students on time for them
to avoid being late and can prepare uhead of time before the class started.

• Therefore , with free school bus , the quality of education may either improve
because students are able to attend everyday in their class. Absentism may lessen, and number
of attendance of students increase every single day.

Recommendation:

If success relies upon support of the Community BLABLABLA lessons for school travel
planning need to be learned from successful community based schemes in both transport and
nontransport sectors in the municipality of cortes. If the single most important target for school travel
emerging from this study is to increase the number of community based safer routes to to school
schemes, then research is needed to understand why schemes are not being implemented more widely
at present and identifying what needs to be be done to change this.

Further research is needed on the impact of school travel experiences by each mode on
children's development. The available research identifies significant impacts of free School Bus. This
study found out that free schoo bus has a wide impact on the number of students in school every day.
That proves that free school bus need to continue even in the next generation or administration on the
Local Government Unit. It can be a basis to a more productive and develoed community and at the same
time the educational institution will access a good quality of education.
