1. Prerequisites

A. Open the Cowl Doors (Refer to 71-11-00-010-812) .

2. Fault Isolation

A.
CAUTION: FOR OPERATIONAL LIMITATIONS OF THE ENGINE, REFER TO 71-00-00-701-815.
Fault Isolation Chart
101 Disconnect the bleed valve and IGV 201
linkage from the AFCR.
Do a test of each for free motion and
do a load check (75-32-30-700-815).
Are the checks satisfactory?
--> If YES, go to # 102
--> If NO, go to # 201
102 Connect the airflow control linkage. 202
Do a ground run (71-00-00-701-815).
Look at the AFCR for any motion of
the ram.
Does it move?
--> If YES, go to # 103
--> If NO, go to # 202
103 Do a check of the airflow control
system for calibration
(71-00-00-701-935).
Is it in limits?
--> If NO, go to # 104
--> If YES, go to # 203
104 Adjust the AFCR (71-00-00-701-935). 204
Is the calibration in limits?
If NO, go to block # 205
--> If YES, go to # 204

Lubricate the HP air bleed-valve    
mechanism and the IGV mechanism
(75-32-30-700-815).
