Turn off the engine according to Technical Instruction No. 1100-0105md and secure against
unauthorized restart.

Experience has shown that the oil flter cartridge must be –
changed after 4,000 operating hours for J 620 / J 624
and after 6,000 hours for J 612/J 616!

1. Replacing the oil filter cartridge:

You must replace the oil filter cartridge following every oil change or, at the latest, after 6,000
operating hours.

To drain the engine oil from the oil filter, open the cock of the oil-filter feed line.
Disassemble the cover and remove the oil-filter element.
Clean the oil-filter casing.
Oil the O rings (new oil-filter element) slightly and slide the element into the oil-filter casing.
Replace the O ring of the cover and oil it slightly.
Mount the cover.
Close the cock in the oil-filter feed line and activate the pre-lubrication system for some minutes.
