INTRODUCTION
This book contains a series of my blog posts on the twelve ascendants, together with celebrity pictures
to help illustrate the appearance and character traits of each zodiac sign. It's based on my personal
experience of doing life assessments and on the knowledge I've gained through books and astrology
teachers.
ARIES ASCENDANT MEANING

Aries on the first house cusp (Aries ascendant, Aries rising) gifts people with intense energy and
ambition. They are adventurous and are not afraid to be the first ones to go into dangerous or unknown
situations.
They are not afraid of being leaders, and there is natural ambition to dominate. It will manifest in all
life’s areas. Arians can be quite quarrelsome and unhappy if they have to work under someone. They
prefer to be leaders, even if of a small group.
Undeveloped Arians can be very selfish, not considering the well-being of others but directly going for
what they want in life. They may have strong opinions, likes and dislikes and they are not afraid of
expressing them, though that may create uncomfortable situations.
They may not like time-wasting people and in every situation they will try to get to the point as quickly
as possible. They are very direct people and do not like roundabout ways and deceptions.
They usually create discordant situations not because they want to, but because they are very direct and
self-centered, not considering the feelings of others or diplomatic ways of going about a situation. This,
of course, applies only to an undeveloped Arian.
Aries people expend much energy to remove obstacles from their way, but if they perceive difficulties
to be too great to overcome or it takes too long to do so, they quickly abandon them and start on a new
road with the same amount of energy.
Their energetic personality might be the first thing others notice about them. They can act on their ideas
immediately, but this may result in wrong actions as not enough time is spent on thinking the subject
over.
Arians may be too impulsive, therefore, and they may also be impatient. They hate wasting time and
can be extremely competitive. Through action they prove to themselves their worth.
The disposition could be angry, quarrelsome and even violent (but other planetary aspects should be
checked before arriving at this conclusion). The person is determined to achieve his goals, sometimes
stopping at nothing.

ARIES RISING APPEARANCE

The first house Aries person is likely to be of a medium stature, rather lean. There could be angular
facial features. Eyes may be of a hazel or light blue color and the body – strongly built. The
complexion could be ruddy or dark, and hair – quite coarse, fair or reddish.
Their movements are quick, glances sharp and fast, and the body is usually muscular. There is a risk of
hair loss later in life for men with Aries rising.
Here are some celebrities that embody the Arian type.

ARIES ASCENDANT CELEBRITIES

Heath Ledger

I have no idea who this actor is as I’m not into Hollywood movies, but he’s a double Arian, which
means that both his Sun and Ascendant are in the sign of Aries.
This makes him a perfect example of Aries rising, also because of the fact that no other planets are
located in Aries thus keeping the Arian appearance pure.
As you can see, the guy even from a still picture looks very active and maybe even trouble-seeking.
The eyes are daring, quick and alive. His hair is sparse and reddish-sand colored, which is quite a
typical color for Aries Ascendant.
His nose a little stands out from the face, which is a usual feature of an Aries rising person. Sometimes
Arians have big noses, and sometimes the nose isn’t big but still stands out from the rest of the face.
Also, his face is quite angular, which is another feature of an Arian type. His body is likely to be lean
and muscular, of a middle stature.

James Dean

Here is another trouble-maker, and this one I surely know. His Ascendant is at 12 degrees Aries, in
complete conjunction with Uranus, giving him an unconventional nature. Sometimes Uranus causes
more height, but in his case I don’t see that being the case, maybe because his Uranus is severely
afflicted.
Again here we see quick and curious eyes, his movements were probably fast, and his whole life was
very short and eventful.
He died in a car accident at a young age of 24. He might have survived the crash had he worn a seat
belt. He owned his Porsche only for nine days and then the accident took place. His life is definitely a
good illustration of an uncontrolled Aries force.
From other photos you can also see that his hair had a reddish tinge, which is again very Arian. He
often wore the color red, the color of Mars which rules Aries. His stature was lean and muscular, of an
Arian type as well.
 Barbara Streisand

Lastly, Barbra Streisand is also Aries ascendant, with the Sun not being too far away, only 3 degrees
into Taurus.
I’m not sure if this is her natural hair, but I googled it and if the source can be trusted, she told to have
brown hair. If this picture has her true hair color, this is a classic Arian hair type.
We can see light blue piercing eyes which also represent the Arian type. She has angular facial features
and her nose is prominent.
(The appearance, of course, will also be modified by the planets in the first house and the position of
the Moon. The Sun sign will also have the influence on one’s appearance.)

CHARACTER FEATURES OF ARIES RISING

Aries is a barren sign, so it may indicate that the person is infertile or that fertility is low, but the fifth
house also should be taken into consideration as well as the placement of the Moon.
The person is likely to be courageous and self-confident. They may view problems as exciting
challenges to overcome. If Aries sign is very energized, it may make the person irritable and restless,
and other people may dislike their excessive energy and impatience. Aries rising people may find it
difficult to sit still even for a minute.
They may begin working on some plan with lots of enthusiasm and energy, but may lack the strength to
complete the work, unless there are indications in the natal chart of perseverance (like looking, for
example, at the placement and aspects of Saturn).
The person is a natural warrior, but his courage and recklessness may cause his downfall. He can
inspire others with his energy and ambition, and therefore could be a natural leader, especially in
competitive/war-like environments.
But if the energy is not controlled, it can cause quarrels, bitter enemies and physical injuries. Arians
tend to get hurt physically quite a lot, experiencing falls, cuts, burns, explosions and injuries, especially
to the head and face.
There is a strong sex drive and the person feels the best if he is acknowledged for his achievements as a
leader of some sort. There is always a need to prove oneself through action.
TAURUS ASCENDANT MEANING

Taurus in the first house, also called “Taurus rising” or “Taurus ascendant”, makes one stubborn and
persistent. The voice is likely to be pleasant, and the movements slower than those of most people.
Since the first house signs influence the person’s appearance, people having Taurus on its cusp are
likely to be stout and good-looking. They may have very pleasant physical features and may look
appealing to the other sex.
The body looks sturdy, and there’s a possibility of becoming overweight with years. Taureans love
pleasure, accessories, art and wealth. They might pay attention to how the fabric feels before buying
clothes and they may like to physically handle money.
They may be superficial and sometimes vain. They may overindulge in sense pleasures. There could be
an attachment to tradition, and they could be bigoted in some views.
Sometimes people perceive taureans to lack intelligence because they really value the status quo if it’s
beneficial to them, so they may resist any improvement to it for the fear of accidentally making the
situation worse.
They are likely to have thick necks, thicker than usual skin, even and clear skin and good hair. The eyes
tend to be large and beautiful. Shoulders may be broad, eyes and hair are likely to be dark, and the
stature – short. Hair may be curly but not always.
Here are some examples of celebrities with Taurus rising that illustrate these features well. Please keep
in mind that the Moon’s location and the planets located in the first house and near the Sun as well as
the Sun sign itself will influence the person’s appearance also.
TAUREAN TYPE CELEBRITIES
 Salman Khan

This is Salman Khan, a very well-known Bollywood actor. I like to use him as the first example
because his ascendant is almost in the middle of the sign Taurus, at 17 degrees, without any other
planets in the first house which may change the appearance.
Here we have a pure Taurean type, with healthy hair, even and clear skin, thick neck and large eyes.
 Varun Dhawan

Here we have Varun Dhawan, who is a Bollywood actor as well. His ascendant is not Taurus (it’s Libra)
but the Sun is in this sign. So we can use him as a good Taurean example also, because in youth the
Sun has more influence over one’s appearance than the ascendant.
Also, if the ascendant is weak, the Sun’s placement may also have a greater influence over one’s
appearance.
We find his Sun in Taurus in the eighth house, just 3 degrees into the sign, still giving him much energy
and ambition of Aries but the appearance is definitely Taurean.
Also, Taurus doesn’t have any more planets influencing it but the Sun, so we get to see many Taurean
characteristics like clear skin, full body-type, thick hair and thick neck.
 Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey is another good example, as she has an unoccupied Taurus sign and the ascendant is 15
degrees into the sign. She has good-quality hair, thick and short neck, dark eyes and a shapely figure
very descriptive of the planet of love (Venus) ruling the Taurus sign.

TAURUS RISING CHARACTER FEATURES

The person with Taurus on the cusp of the first house is not going to be angered fast, but if the anger is
aroused, it will be long-lasting and very destructive. They don’t give up their hearts easily, but when
they do, they are likely to remain very loyal.
People with Taurus rising may have unchanging daily routines and the love of comfort and luxury.
They like beauty in their life, and will action to create it in some form, be it through music, painting,
home decoration or in any other way.
Taurus rising people are hard workers and they are likely not to rebel against their bosses, though other
natal chart indicators should be looked at to be really sure. Once they make up their minds, it’s very
hard for them to change their beliefs.
They are motivated to make money to enjoy luxury and comfort or to make a loved one happy. They
usually make a good living, because Taurus is ruled by Venus, which rules cash.
Though Taurus rising people may earn a lot of money, they still worry about their future financial
condition. Usually the youth may not be wealthy, but as the years go by they accumulate more and
more riches.
Taurus ascendant people have acquisitive natures. They like to accumulate possessions, and the same
applies to the people who have Venus in their second house. They get attached to the stuff they own
easily, and they may be very unhappy should they have to be separated from what they own.
The same applies to relationships. Though they may look secure, if they really love a person they will
jealously guard him or her. They may be easily hurt by criticism of a loved one, and may even choose
to leave if their self-esteem is hurt.
Some people perceive taureans as lacking intelligence because they are slow to react and they remain
stuck to what they believe to be true. But it’s not that they aren’t intelligent, they just think in a
different way.
They think that if something works, there’s no point of reinventing the wheel. They also react to any
challenge very slowly, gathering enough evidence of how it’s best to act, and then slowly but surely
proceeding with the changed behavior.
One of the best features of taureans is their loyalty. They only leave if their self-esteem is hurt.
Someone having Venus in Taurus can remain loyal even if their partner is downright evil. It’s a
domestic sign of steadiness and perseverance, and is a blessing for all who like loyalty and
steadfastness.
GEMINI ASCENDANT MEANING

Gemini ascendant, also called Gemini rising, gives to a person his or her physical appearance and
outward behavior. However, the presence of other planets close to the ascendant will alter that
appearance and then it will no longer be a typical Gemini appearance.
Also, if the rising sign is afflicted or weak, then in a man’s chart the Sun’s position should be examined
for the appearance, whilst in a woman’s – the Moon’s. Though both the Sun and Moon in the charts of
both men and women will have some influence on the appearance and outward behavior.
The locations of other planets also need to be taken into consideration, as each planet rules a particular
part of the body. For example, the muscular system is ruled by Mars, and the appearance of a mouth –
by Mercury. So checking which signs such planets are placed in can give us more detailed information
about one’s appearance.
The natal chart ruler of Gemini on the cusp of the first house is Mercury, and one should look at where
Mercury is located in the natal chart to be able to give further details about one’s character and
appearance.

GEMINI RISING BEHAVIOR

Gemini represents the air element and the minds of Gemini rising people are perfect examples of that.
They ever wander, ready to take on the color of any impression it comes in touch with.
They are born entertainers and are very interesting to talk to because they usually know a bit about
everything. They can be so versatile and sometimes random that you cannot help but get entertained by
them.
Maxim Galkin - he is such a wonderful example of a Gemini. His looks are pure Gemini. His birth hour
is unknown but the Sun and Mercury are in the sign making it strong and unaltered. He’s a comedian, a
television personality and married to an entertainer thus he will never get bored:)

They usually have an excellent command of speech and therefore they can persuade you; this makes
them great sellers. Unevolved Geminis may use lies to sell you things that you don’t need or which
aren’t what they were described.
Pure Gemini types aren’t sensual and you may get little affection from them. Their activity is mental,
they process everything with their minds and therefore sometimes they get accused of being unfeeling.
This is quite true for pure types, but those influenced by water signs will be more emotional.
Gemini rising people are always curious and are interested in new people and experiences. They are
interested in them to be entertained and to learn something from them. But their interest may not be
long-lasting – if something more interesting presents itself Geminis may start paying attention to the
novelty.
This doesn’t necessarily have to manifest in intimate relationships as Geminis are not sensual (unless
strong aspects modify this trait); but they will have the need to always be mentally stimulated and that’s
why they like to seek out novelties and be involved in many pursuits at the same time.
 Young Mick Jagger – he’s a Gemini rising modified by the presence of Saturn in the first house and
Uranus conjunct ascendant from the twelfth. We can see the narrow face and straight nose of a Gemini,
and he’s also quite tall – over 1.78 m.

If a Gemini was properly educated, the thirst for novelty will manifest as a craving for knowledge
instead. So he won’t be too much focused on getting entertained but on becoming smarter.
However, he is likely to be pursuing various kinds of knowledge at the same time so his knowledge of
one subject doesn’t get deep. Because of this reason they are often accused of being superficial.
They are also accused of having no heart, lacking loyalty and being ungrateful. It’s not that they are
consciously so; they just don’t operate like the more feeling types.
They get along with various types of people – there really are no people that they truly dislike. That’s
because Gemini is a mercurial sign and Mercury is the planet that adapts to anything yet is not really
changed by anything. For example, we see that in our earthly mercury which we can find in a
thermometer. It rises and falls according to the heat yet is unchanged by it.
For example, Gemini rising people can suddenly get emotional but that’s a surface emotion; and then
something catches their fancy and their mood changes instantly, because that previous emotion had no
effect on them.
Gemini ascendants have a very strong ability to adjust to the circumstances or change them so that they
benefit from wherever they are. They don’t like to attack others and there is no strong resistance to any
influence. They are excellent critics and observers of small changes, so occupations that require
attention to detail are suitable for them.
 Michelle Pfeiffer is 61 yet she still retains a slender figure, like Gemini rising people usually do. She
also looks great for her age.

Geminis rarely get attached to people and they don’t complain much about the circumstances they find
themselves in. Because they’re often not interested in deepening the relationships with others, neither
others get too much attached to them.
In marriage they make friendly and useful partners. The main problem in marriage arises when a
partner expects too much of a Gemini. He may not be fully giving of himself and this may be perceived
as lack of care. He’s just this type of person and he’s not consciously withholding himself from being
too affectionate; so this is important to know before marrying an individual with a Gemini rising.
Geminis do best in quiet environments because of their high nervous sensitivity.
Geminis are childlike and it’s beautiful that they retain their youthfulness in the way that they think and
behave till old age. Their mind is extremely logical and the intellect is not influenced by emotions.
This allows them to solve problems and arrive at right conclusions, but some people can be shocked by
the coldness of the intellect, especially the ones who are influenced by water signs of the zodiac.
 Louis Tomlinson is Gemini rising – he has the boyish look that Geminis sometimes have.

Geminis may look highly creative but actually what they do is combine existing bits of knowledge to
form it into a new whole.
Their main problem is the lack of a single focus. And this can actually be benefited from if they choose
careers that require variety. For example, if they become vloggers talking about many things they are
not likely to get bored, whilst the audience will be entertained due to variety and their good command
of language.
The nervous system of Geminis is very sensitive. All their impressions are processed mentally and they
may suffer from being inattentive and distracted as well as unable to sleep if they are engaged in too
many activities or put through too much stress.

ADVICE FOR GEMINI RISING CHILDREN

To be happiest they always need to be occupied with something. If they’re not busy they will get bored,
unhappy, and may start doing something that’s not good, like getting involved with the wrong company
or in harmful activities. So this is a lesson for all parents who have Gemini children – keep them busy
with beneficial activities so that they don’t take the wrong path.
Also, unless some positive astrological indicators are there, Geminis may lack moral principles and
therefore use their intelligence for any sort of activity that they are interested in, be them moral or not.
So again, parents are strongly advised to instill strong moral principles in Gemini children.
They should also be encouraged to be grateful for what they have, because their mind is quick, and
nature – changeable. So they may get quickly dissatisfied with their toys, friends or environment. But if
parents encourage them to appreciate what they have, instead of growing up to be dissatisfied
individuals, they will grow up to appreciate who they are and what they have.
They should also be encouraged to express themselves physically and they may want to express
themselves through acting or making up stories. So acting or theater classes may be very useful to them
and will satisfy their dual natures.
Also, parents should take great care to select right friends for him, because he will take on the qualities
of people he finds himself with. It’s also important to carefully watch for their talents, because due to
their changeable and adaptable natures they may choose occupations suggested to them rather than
selecting something truly suitable for them.
Also, since their imagination is quick and powerful, parents should never tell them any scary stories as
they will be too frightened to sleep. They need plenty of fresh air and a lot of sleep, though sleep may
be spread throughout the 24-hour period.
If parents follow this advice, their Gemini child should grow up into a healthy adult. Otherwise they
may grow up to be nervous and dissatisfied.

GEMINI RISING APPEARANCE

This sign is so unstable and changeable that any planet present close to the ascendant can strongly alter
a person’s appearance. But pure Gemini rising people have very active sparkling eyes, active body and
long limbs. Often they have pointed chins and straight noses.
The body is usually tall and face more on the narrower side. The eyes are often grey or hazel, and
rather small.
 Kristen Stewart is a Gemini rising and she has a classical Gemini pointy
chin and small eyes.

They are flexible and thin, and this thinness is maintained by their constant movement and interest in
the mental world more than the physical. They look younger than their age. For example, my boyfriend
is a Gemini and he looks around seven years younger than he really is.
Unusual length of arms, fingers and legs is another feature of Geminis. Usually hands are thin, with
notable bones and knuckles. Once you know this look you will never mistake it.
For example, Osho has that pronounced look of his hands:
 Osho was a Gemini rising and although most energy is focused in his Capricorn and Sagittarius, we
see clearly that he has the hands and arms of a Gemini. In his youth his nose was long and thin, which
is again a classic Gemini rising trait.

Gemini rising people should be careful with their lungs as they are delicate. They should definitely
avoid smoking. They should ideally be living in unpolluted environments as plenty of fresh air is
important to them.
CANCER ASCENDANT MEANING

Cancer rising people are ruled by the Moon but there are two distinct types of their bodily appearance
depending on whether they are considered active or passive types.

ACTIVE CANCER-RISING TYPE

Active types have narrower skulls, piercing eyes, sometimes aquiline nose and ruddy complexion. The
mouth is usually thin and firm and chin – pointed and the jaws may be quite prominent.
The body may be large and not well proportioned, and there could be something clumsy in the
appearance. The body is quite strong but liable to disease, and these people often get sick because of
self-indulgent habits.
I think face-wise the best example of an active type of Cancer rising is Lisa Kudrow whose chart’s
Rodden rating is “AA”, which means her birth time is accurate. She has no planet conjuncting her
Cancer ascendant, so we get quite a pure type.
She looked even more true to Cancer rising before her rhinoplasty as seen in this picture:

So we see that she has ruddy complexion, sharp eyes (especially in the second picture) and a thin upper
lip. The chin is pointed and pre-plastic surgery aquiline nose is also a representation of an active
Cancer-rising type.

prominent jaws.

Carla Bruni is another good example of Cancer Rising because of her narrow face, sharp eyes and also
large body frame. Cancer rising people often have such large frames, and sometimes their bodies look
irregular in some way.

PASSIVE CANCER-RISING TYPE

The passive type is much easier to recognize because it’s a classic Cancer pale look with big pale eyes
and broad face. sometimes the face is so pale that it looks unhealthy, and it can look like it has a layer
of fat underneath even if the person is not overweight.
Lips are often large and sensual, nose is usually wide and snub. Eyebrows are arching giving a little
surprised expression. The body is usually round and women often have big buttocks and large thighs.
Also, for a passive Cancer-rising type any planet close to the ascendant will influence its appearance
much more than the active one.
The best celebrity example of a passive Cancer type is Angelina Julie, but she cannot be a pure type as
she’s famous for so long, which means she had to work hard to keep her fame. So the best examples of
pure types would never be found among such people.
 A large face, prominent jaws, big lips and eyes, and her often very pale looks make
Angelina a good example of a passive Cancer-rising type.

Angelina’s Ascendant is at 28 degrees Cancer which is close to the degree of culmination, giving her
more cancerian qualities. Her ascendant tightly conjuncts Venus, an influence which gives her beauty
but doesn’t overpower the Cancer sign which again proves it cannot be a totally passive type.

BEHAVIORAL TRAITS OF CANCER-RISING PEOPLE

Cancer-rising persons are family-oriented and they love their home. They usually respect their parents
and appreciate where they came from. They are very attached to the past and treasure memories of
people close to them.
They get easily attached to people and suffer greatly if a close person leaves their life. They may be
very clingy in relationships and they need constant assurance of love as well as compliments, as usually
they have many insecurities about their looks.
They want to have families of their own and often create families early, especially if their Sun or
Ascendant is located in the first decanate of Cancer (0-10 degrees of the sign). I write much more in

They are community-oriented and sensitive. Even if they can’t have children of their own, they will
somehow end up creating a community which would become their family.
Cancer people find it difficult to forgive and forget. They can keep hurts for years. They are also very
security-oriented so money is important for them for that reason. They are the people that you may find
stocking up on canned foods for possible disasters.
They also sometimes marry because they believe that the other half would assure their financial well-
being. But after marriage they often remain loyal because keeping family strong is important to them.
They make excellent parents and they truly care for their loved ones, but for signs who love freedom
they may appear too clingy and not giving too much space. One of the worst things that could happen
to them is divorce, loss of contact with children and loss of money.
Cancer-rising people are ruled by the Moon so their moods are changeable and they can have days of
happy moods followed by really low times. If they have their low moods, they can be argumentative
and fault-finding. But when their mood is good, they will be loving and caring.
They often prefer spending free time at home to going out. Working from home or work connected to

her. When Krishnamurti left her influence it was told that it was a blow she never recovered from.

Cancer-rising people should guard against overindulging in any appetites. The risk is to overindulge in
sweets and other foods. Often Cancer-rising individuals prefer foods that are very bad for them.
ADVICE FOR PARENTS OF CANCER-RISING CHILDREN

Cancer-rising children take on the qualities of others, so it’s very important to keep them in right
company.

People who are raising Cancer-rising children should be very observant for any self-indulgences and
train them out of that; otherwise with age these habits will wreck their health.
Also, they may not eat as much as other children and they should not be forced to. The food that they
want can change from time to time, and this ideally should be accommodated to.
These children need a lot of love but their silent calls for love may not be heard because of their
shyness. They need a lot of attention, but again, they are not likely to show that. However, they should
never be overindulged as then they easily get spoiled.
They are very hurt by rejection. They need to be told how special they are, otherwise they may grow up
with low self-confidence. Sometimes they need to be told compliments even when they grow up. It’s
important, however, to comment only on existing good traits and encourage their development.
Often other children take advantage of their loving nature, so this also should be guarded against. For

Many health problems of Cancer-rising individuals are caused by overindulgences.

for example, Blavatsky, who was Cancer-rising, suffered from all kinds of health problems all her life
which were caused by her lifestyle choices, such as incessant smoking. This is again quite typical of
Cancer-rising people – they sometimes find it difficult to resist self-indulgences that harm their health.
Cancer-rising individuals should also guard against diabetes, Addison’s disease and tumors. These
people are highly liable to contract infectious diseases and to have chronic illnesses. Women sometimes
have troubles with ovaries.
Their digestion is especially sensitive and there could be degeneration of various organs because of a
passive lifestyle. They should make sure their diet is healthy and digestible for them, as if they don’t
take care of digestion, all kinds of diseases may start manifesting. Drinking alcohol can ruin their
stomachs too.
In general, Cancer people are very afraid of pain. But even so, they often don’t take preventative
measures to avoid later pain of disease. During the first four years of life Cancer-rising people are
especially liable to contract all kinds of diseases, but if they don’t abuse their bodies and live
moderately, their can continuously strengthen their health and enjoy a long life.
QUIET PERSISTENCE IS THE MODUS OPERANDI OF ACTIVE CANCER-
RISING PEOPLE

Cancer-rising individuals often accomplish work through regularity, persistence and by not bringing

Cancer people are not totally passive though it may sometimes look so on the surface. They do their
work quietly, persistently and slowly but surely achieve success.
They don’t expect to gain what they want fast. They’re prepared to wait and work for it. Though highly

We can see this method of work, for example, in the life of Blavatsky. She did not directly attack
Christianity but undermined its foundations by exposing people to older faiths that Christianity
borrowed many of its creeds from. This is a usual method that Cancer-rising people employ to gain
their ends.
LAZINESS OF A PASSIVE TYPE OF CANCER-RISING

The passive type of Cancer-rising individuals embody totally feminine-passive elements which makes
them unreliable and always taking an easy road.

Passive type of Cancer-rising people do not employ quiet persistence. Instead, they allow life to do to
them what it wishes. They do not resist but just are pushed by the flow of life.
They don’t have the same depth of feeling as the active type of Cancer and therefore are not greatly
affected by anything emotional, even if it’s the death of a close one. They simply accept it as
unavoidable and move on.
They allow life to push them into occupations that require minimal work. If they get married and the
other half is violent, they accept it as inevitable and stay, because change would require too much

inherently they are so, but because initiating anything of such sort would cause too much trouble.
They may be interested in history, like the active type. They may like writing but there’s nothing
original in their writing style. They may like to copy some appealing style of writing or write about

WHAT OFTEN MAKES CANCER-RISING INDIVIDUALS FALL

Cancer-rising people sometimes engage in self-defeating behavior such as having habits which
eventually destroy them.

Sometimes their imagination makes them unable to see reality. They sometimes overlook important
details. Often they fully trust their intuition thinking of themselves as chosen by God, more special than
other people.
High imagination and intuition can make them egotistic and excessively proud in themselves not
considering how others view the world. This makes them unable to see themselves and reality in true
light and eventually causes their fall.
Their elaborate imagination and emotions sometimes distort their past memories and then they project
this distortion on how things are today. So they may be unable to correctly determine how others relate
to them.
There’s danger of misjudging people based on what they did in the past rather than who they are today.
For Cancer-rising people, therefore, learning to be present without the involvement of the mind is of

It’s especially important for them to heal from and forgive all past hurts. Because wounds inflicted
from long ago could still shape the world that they see today.

unfortunate since if they see their faults, there’s a possibility to remove them from the character as it’s

You can appeal to them by making emotional propositions and by compliments. They will listen to you
if you have similar values. If they love you, they will yield unless you force them to – then they will
stay fixed in their own beliefs.
They appreciate people who work hard so their approval could be won in this way too. It’s easy to
receive their generosity in times of trouble, because they are compassionate. However, they are
intuitive, so if you try to fake that you’re in need when you’re not, they are likely to catch that.

Leo-rising people are generally good-natured and it takes many afflictions of planets in one’s natal
chart to destroy their good qualities, like we see in the case of Ted Bundy.
However, though good-natured, undeveloped types can be great boasters and very proud, thinking that
the world owes them though they provide no service.
In the case of undeveloped types, they naturally expect favors from others, returning very little in value
and thinking that they are doing those people a favor just by their presence. If others don’t do according
to their demands, undeveloped types get disappointed and think the world to be ungrateful.
But if Leo-rising people develop themselves, they can be a true blessing to the world, inspiring others
through their leadership abilities and sunny personalities.
They often have blond or reddish hair in the western world, the chest is usually well-developed,
shoulders are broad, and hips – slender. Again, we can see the well-developed chest and broad
shoulders in the body shape of Donald Trump who has Leo rising.
They have great personal magnetism and big-heartedness. They are hurt by the lack of generosity and
meanness and don’t understand pettiness and narrow-mindedness.

A good representative of a natural Leo-rising person is Donald Trump, who is very direct, boastful
though very lucky as his ruler is the sun.
He has the classic reddish hair color of Leo rising persons and he can be a challenge to be with and can
view new people as potential enemies or competitors, which is again a sign of Leo-rising persons. Also
he has a flushed complexion typical of Leo-rising people.
 Red hair, square face shape, reddish complexion and small,
well-defined mouth – the classic traits of Leo rising people as
seen in the example of Donald Trump.

They are naturally cheerful and friendly, and have a commanding attitude. They usually have a high
and broad forehead. The nose is of a normal size and the mouth of Leo-rising people is usually small
and shapely, and it tends to be tensely held.
Chins tend to be more square than pointed, and the face looks more full than narrow. Sometimes cheeks
look quite full. I’ve noticed that the Leo-rising people’s eyes are usually small, but this is my own
opinion from observation rather than found in other sources.
Marilyn Monroe is another Leo rising and her facial shape is a good representation of this rising sign.
She also has the typical Leo-rising nose which is quite hard to define but my boyfriend is Leo-rising
and his nose looks similar, and it does look a little leonine in shape.
I don’t know if you will be able to tell, but below I’m providing the classic leonine nose type examples
of Marilyn Monroe, my boyfriend and Barack Obama who has the sun in Leo:
Barack Obama is also known for his loyalty to his wife. As an alpha male with such fame it’s extremely
unusual, but Leos are known for their loyalty. Of course, this can be destroyed by an afflicted Venus,
bad Mars and other natal configurations.
Marilyn Monroe also had a small shapely mouth typical of Leo-rising persons. Her forehead was broad
and the face was neither too narrow nor too broad. Her real hair color is red and without foundation her
complexion was reddish, again typical of Leo-rising people.

The typical facial shape of Leo-rising people is more square than oval, the limbs have harmonious
proportions. If the type has not developed but degenerated, the face will not look leonine but more like

THE HEALTH OF LEO-RISING PEOPLE

Due to this sign having a harmonious ruler the sun, internal organs are well working together and the
person has much strength. Because of the optimism of Leo-rising people they fight off diseases very
fast. If they get seriously sick, they may at first get frightened but then the leonine spirit wins and they
put all their strength into conquering the disease.

Leo-rising natives are very optimistic and hopeful. The most optimistic sign of all is Sagittarius, but
Leo is the second most optimistic sign. They think well of themselves and have high self-confidence.
They expect people to applaud their actions and they expect gratitude for the help that they provide.
This is very important to them. If they are not acknowledged they can get very upset.
Usually difficulties have a positive effect on Leos, developing their warmer side. They become more

passionately against all dishonest ways to get to the top which is similar to Scorpio-rising individuals
who play fairly.
Their ambition for success is not for the sake of gathering material resources but for the glory of it.
They sometimes fail because they think that others play as fairly as them; They also oftentimes fail
because they trust others too much and don’t want to think that others would lie to them. So they can be
easy to deceive.
Leos are too noble to take revenge or inflict hurt because due to their past hurts they would not want to

I remember listening to the interview of Shah Rukh Khan who is a double Scorpio (so a great type to
study for understanding the Scorpio sign) and he said that even till this day (he’s 54 now) he still feels
the need to revenge those who did him wrong.
Leos can get angry but the anger doesn’t last and they forgive easily. They can be very proud and may
end up alienating people because of their excessive pride and find themselves lonely. Pride is such a
turn-off, but it’s so natural for Leo-rising persons to have it.
Megalomania is sometimes found among Leo-rising persons, and this was obviously the case with Ted
Bundy. Killing innocent women may have been the only way to exercise his power.
Leos are also liable to fall for flattery. They don’t usually think that adulation can be false, because they

who buy bad-quality items in order to save money like Capricorn people sometimes do. They know
that those people will end up paying twice.
In their speech and writing they are direct and frank, yet they tend to exaggerate and brag. They like to
get straight to the point and don’t understand the need to make something unpalatable palatable. So in
this regard they are similar to the Sagittarius people.
They can be very optimistic especially if born in the third decanate, which is ruled by Mars. These
people never give up, they fight till the last. Madonna was born in this decanate and we can clearly see
her fighting spirit and an inability to give up. Stars her age usually retire or take it easy, but she’s not
even thinking of stopping.

LEOS AS FAMILY PEOPLE
In family Leos are known for their good hearts but they must be the center of attention; otherwise they
will seek attention somewhere else. They are loyal, but they expect attention and respect for their
loyalty.
The only reason they may stray is if they are not appreciated. They are ruled by the sun, so they need to
shine. If their presence is not acknowledged, they will seek out people who do acknowledge it.
They must receive respect and admiration. If they don’t receive it from anyone, they can become
tyrannical, demanding it by force. If they receive adulation from the public, they will be less intense in

for their generosity. Sometimes this can even be done to the extreme, and they may come across as

Often Leos are lucky in fame and money, and success comes to them not so much through hard work
but through their magnetism and aspiration to that which is the best of the world.
Leo-rising people love having fun and they also love children. They may spoil them and enjoy playing
with them. They often have a good sense of humor. They, however, may find themselves patronizing
others without even realizing that this is demeaning to some.

Leo is not a scientific sign but a sign of the heart. So Leos get interested in things that stir their passion
rather than intellectual matters. Their approach is emotional and passionate and not scientific.
That’s the reason many statesmen have Leo rising or the sun in Leo – they can inspire the masses
through their passion, and they take their commanding roles naturally. Also, since Leo-rising people see
the whole picture but tend to overlook the details, it’s good for them to be in leadership positions and
delegate the details to someone else.

The best favor that parents can do to the Leo-rising children, therefore, is to teach them not to boast but
to focus on doing things well for the sake of doing them well and not for praise. Things done well will

However, Leo-rising children should always receive attention and their talents and things done well

Please keep in mind that this is not a Sun-sign-Virgo description but the ascendant Virgo. Also, it’s a
description of a pure rising Virgo – the presence of planets on the ascendant and a heavy emphasis on
other signs will modify this description.
The intellect of Virgo-rising persons is not as restless as that of Gemini, but it’s more earthy, therefore
more pessimistic. After all, Virgo is an earth sign. It’s told that the negative side of Mercury operates
through this sign.
Its true ruler is told to be the planet Vulcan which is the god of work; but because of its close proximity

Like we have seen in the Cancer ascendant, Virgo ascendant is also known by two different types. One
is earthy, and another – mercurial. The earthy type is of a bigger size, the skull is broad and the nostrils
– wide. The skull may look big in comparison to the rest of the body.
The eyes are small but their appearance is clear. The undeveloped type of Virgo rising persons’ eyes
could be cunning in appearance. The mouth is usually small, with thin lips.
The body usually has some irregularities about it, so the figure doesn’t strike as harmonious. There
could be some unusual characteristic about the body, such as it being too big or small; the hair is
usually curly or wavy and stands up from the forehead.
Brooke Shields is a Virgo rising and she represents the earthy type of Virgo, with the skull to the wider
side, wide nostrils and small eyes.
Franklin D. Roosevelt is another earthy Virgo type as seen from the large skull which stands out from
the rest of the body, small eyes and wide nostrils.
 Nicolas Sarkozy, the past president of France, has pure Virgo rising without any planets to alter the
look. He has a broad forehead, small eyes and thin lips.

The mercurial type of Virgo is very different with a body well-proportioned and quite small. Such a
person is very active and the hair is often light brown, eyes – hazel or grey, sometimes blue.
The nose is small and straight but still with quite wide nostrils. Such Virgo-rising persons usually have
pointed or small chins. Virgo, like Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces, is a weak ascendant, meaning it
gives a weaker body than other signs and therefore a greater susceptibility to disease.
Keanu Reeves has a broad forehead, thin lips, small eyes and a
chin more pointy than square, which are Mercury-type Virgo
rising traits. However, he’s very tall, and that’s because his
ascendant conjuncts Uranus. His birth time is not 100%
confirmed, but it’s highly likely that it’s correct.
 Young Steve Jobs – another good representation of a mercurial type of Virgo rising, especially due to
the shape of the face and lips. He is very tall though, which I think was caused by Uranus in
conjunction with Jupiter aspecting his ascendant.

Virgo-rising persons usually remain slender till their old age. They aren’t likely to ruin their health with
overindulgences, unless they are the types that worry far too much and try to escape from that through
food. But then again, it’s not because they want to experience sense pleasures, but because they
perceive eating as a way to divert their minds from worrying.
If some disease gets hold of them, they may feel helpless to change that so it’s best for them not to get
sick at all.

CONSTANT WORRY AND FEAR OF DISEASES

Also, sometimes they worry that they have diseases when it’s not the case. So they may be the people
frequently visiting doctors complaining of sicknesses that doctors can’t discover.
The whole process of digestion and assimilation can be delicate in Virgo-rising people so they must
take care that this process is not hindered in any way. They should eat food that their body can digest
and assimilate.
They often worry not only about their health but other matters. They can worry about things that others
would not pay much attention to. They are critical of others and their own selves, and they usually keep

could be a constant wet blanket to your optimism, and Virgos should never live with people with Fire
or Air signs rising (unless their charts have a heavy earth emphasis), because separation will result or
both parties will be very unhappy.
They can get really upset and argue about misplaced items whilst not understanding that human
connection is more important than whether an item is in its own place or not. So that’s the reason
Virgos often remain single or their other halves leave them, and that’s the reason Virgos are better off
marrying other Virgos.

Kurt Cobain was actually Virgo rising too (look at his small chin and thin lips), though he was very
much influenced by Uranus as it conjuncted his ascendant, and Pluto, the lord of the underworld, was
bothering his psyche in the twelfth house.

VIRGO-RISING PERSONS IN RELATIONSHIPS

A good thing about having a relationship with a Virgo-rising person is that they are not so much
focused on the other person’s beauty than the content of their minds. Also, since Virgo-rising people are
not sensual, they tend to stay loyal in relationships.
They seek control in all they do, and that’s another reason it can be difficult to live with them. They
usually achieve success through their own hard work rather than through the help of others.
In relationships they will try to influence another person, sometimes through much criticism, trying to
make the other person adjust to their routines and the sense of order. So very pliable people will
remain, but those who are more chaotic and self-willed will leave.
Also, Virgo-rising persons expect the other half to be as hardworking as them so if the other half takes

They often focus on things to criticize but miss the bigger things that really matter, such as maintaining
a loving connection or appreciating another human being.
They are just wired this way. We do need to have critics and organizers in this world, so Virgo-rising
people thrive in such careers but they can really suffer for such traits in relationships.
They also have a neat and tidy appearance and can get stressed out if they notice something disorderly
in the way that they look. They are in no way flashy, but their charm is understated. They also do not
want to draw attention to themselves, preferring to blend with their surroundings.
However, not all Virgo-rising people are neat and tidy. Some tidy and organize their homes whilst their

Large forehead, small eyes, wide nostrils and a rather strong chin makes me think Uma Thurman to
represent the earthy type of Virgo rising.

They are usually religious but may not spend their life researching spirituality as they are usually
focused on practical matters.

NEAT IN APPEARANCE
They are also the kind of people that do not have anything in their appearance standing out, so it’s hard
to fit them into any stereotypical appearance. Their sense of smell is well-developed, so they make sure
that they smell nice and expect others to wear good-quality perfume but not too much of it.
Virgo rising signs’ bathrooms will be full of all sorts of body care and medical items so it could look
like a pharmacy. They also invest a lot into health, so you may find in their kitchens many health foods
and supplements. They also often have home gyms if they can afford it, or they go to gyms or have
their own exercise routines at home and may invest into items connected with body fitness.
In general, they may have a well-defined routine which they may religiously follow every day, as after
all, Virgo is the ruler of the astrological house of health.
These people can be excellent dietitians, critics, researchers, scientists and doctors. They can be very
particular about the food that they eat and they may have peculiar eating habits, based on what they
read about food consumption.

Emma Watson is another Virgo-rising, with small brown eyes, small nose and a chin to the pointy side,
making me think she’s a Mercurial type of Virgo rising.

VIRGOS AT WORK
Since they tend to worry a lot, they need to take regular times off work and just to de-stress. They
should also avoid taking stimulants if possible, because their mind is already likely to be over-
stimulated.
They do best at work because they want to be perfect at what they do. They are likely to overwork and
they take their duties seriously. They have great attention to detail but sometimes miss the bigger
picture. They find it difficult to change their minds but do if facts show that they are in the wrong.

ADVICE FOR VIRGO-RISING PERSONS

Virgo-rising people should engage in mindfulness practices (like what Eckhart Tolle teaches) as that
will help to alleviate their worrying nature. Also, they will feel balanced if their homes are safe and
orderly. They should get away from the self-nagging habit by doing something that helps others.
They are risking spending life seeking perfection and worrying about their own performance and that
of others. So in order not to make this mistake, they should learn to enjoy the fruits of their work and
their free time, and to appreciate people who love them and other blessings that they have in their lives.
MISSING THE BIGGER PICTURE
These people have high body awareness but they may allow their worrying minds to trick them into
finding ailments that don’t exist. Though they are good with details, because they tend to miss the
bigger picture, it’s hard for them to see what really matters and to be generally aware of how they are

In this post I will describe how people look and behave who have a Libra ascendant – this sign being
on the cusp of the first house of the natal chart.
This is different from your Sun sign as it’s not so much about who you are in your heart but about how
others perceive you, how you behave in public and how you look.

APPEARANCE OF LIBRA-RISING INDIVIDUALS

The most known quality of Libra-rising persons is a symmetrical face and beauty. There’s balance in
facial features and beautiful bodily proportions. We can see the symmetry of the face in Jennifer
Aniston, who is a confirmed Libra rising.
 Jennifer Aniston is Libra rising. Facial symmetry and beauty are one of
the first things people notice about Libra-rising persons.

Usually Libra-rising people have small bodies and they aren’t tall. The body is slim and delicate. The
movements are refined and beautiful. The person knows how to behave in social settings.
The skull can be long, and facial features – small and beautiful. All this is seen in Jennifer Aniston.
Also, the usual complexion of Libra-rising persons is olive, which is the case with Jennifer too.
Libra-rising persons’ hair is often dark brown or black. It’s usually soft, shiny and straight. Often the

BEWARE OF THE CUNNING TYPE OF LIBRA-RISING (LUPUS CONSTELLATION)
However, there’s another type of Libra-rising natives too, the ones influenced by Saturn having his
exaltation there as well as the next sign Scorpio.
The Saturnian influence makes the body more muscular, wide across the chest and shoulders and of a
square body type. Shoulders can be very square. Often the latter degrees of Libra produce this type.
They have shorter and more practical-looking arms and hands. There’s less gracefulness and more
physical strength.
Often this type can be told by the eyes. The eyes of the typical Libra-rising person have soft and tender
expression. The eyes of the Saturnian-type of Libra-rising have more power and darkness in them, and
it can be seen from them that such people are planning something.
Sometimes it’s hard to understand the expression as it’s secretive. Also, the face may have more
brutality about it. Sometimes people are fascinated by such devilish beauty and some have an
instinctive distrust of it.
Often such people don’t care if they hurt others on their way to the top. They tell facts in such a way
that it would serve their own purposes and these people are quite dangerous because they look refined
yet they are truly wolves in sheep’s clothing.
No wonder the last decanate of Libra is ruled by the Lupus constellation which is translated as “The
Wolf” and is one of the most dangerous constellations to be born under. It sometimes produces smooth
criminals.
In my Ancient Egyptian Tarot book I mention that people born under this constellation sometimes give
into the desire for pleasure and power and do not care about how many people they hurt to get what
they want.
They are experts at cunningly exploiting others and they embody the sociopath archetype. I’m not
saying all people born under this constellation are so, but some indeed are. Those who are conscious
can resist the influence.
David Berkowitz was a Libra-rising born under the Lupus constellation. He was a serial killer. From
what I read about him he displayed psychopathic traits because he enjoyed the fame he got as a result
of his shootings.
From the very beginning he was a trouble, but from his face, especially when he was younger, it’s hard
to tell unless you’ve seen more life. It’s like an angel with something devilish about him, so that’s why
people as such are called wolves in sheep’s clothing. Many refined-looking individuals are on Wall
Street yet their conscience is zero.
 David Berkowitz, a serial killer born under the Lupus constellation (3rd decan Libra rising).

LIBRAS AT WORK
Often they don’t like hard work and choose an easy way to make money. They can make money
through being adaptable and since they’re good character readers they know how to treat their bosses to
get a promotion. So they may get promotion because of their adaptation skills and nice personalities
rather than hard work.
They are liked employees because they are not argumentative and seek to harmonize the environment.
They are excellent in any kind of job requiring to deal with people and also they are good with
numbers.
They treat all people equally and are not likely to have favorites. It’s hard to become their true friend as
they treat everyone in pretty much the same way so they’re not likely to put too much investment into
any one person.
Because of their good dressing taste they are often found in positions requiring refined appearance,
such as being the faces of financial institutions or luxury department stores.
However, they don’t handle constant rude behavior well. If they need to experience daily toxic work
environment, they will get disillusioned and will stop charming others with their pleasant personalities.

LIBRAS IN RELATIONSHIPS
Libra occupies the seventh house of astrology which shows that this sign is all about relationships.
Intimate relationships are very important to them and they can’t feel whole unless they find the other
half.
In love they strive for fairness and justice. They are very protective over their families but they are not
domestic types like Cancer or Taurus people. As long as the relationship is fair they will stay but the
other half often feels that a Libra-rising partner is unemotional, on the colder side and detached.
However, since they dislike arguments, violence and confrontations, if they are unhappy about their
other half, they may actually date other people behind their backs rather than directly saying that the
relationship is going nowhere.

Because of this detached nature they make excellent parents who treat their children as individuals and
not their extensions. This means that they will try to uncover children’s talents and develop them rather
than forcing them into occupations they themselves desire.
This can be seen from the way Aaradhya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai’s daughter is raised. It’s believed
that Aishwarya is Libra-rising though it’s not confirmed. From the kind of professions that she was
interested in – beauty, modelling, architecture – and because of her beauty, it’s very likely that she’s
Libra rising.
Her husband Abhishek’s Sun sign is air as well – Aquarius, thus also making him a parent that’s not
controlling.
In an interview he told that both of them observe Aaradhya to see what her talents are and that they
would support her fully no matter what occupation she chooses.
 Aish is likely to be a a Libra-rising whilst Abhishek – another air sign (Aquarius – his Sun sign). This
makes the couple perfect in raising children as their daughter is likely to be free to choose her own
career.

Parents should teach Libra-rising children to stick to one purpose until it’s completed. Because of the
fact that they love beauty and social engagements, they may waste their time on dabbling in arts and
getting entertained without learning anything deep and useful. So once their talents are discovered
parents should try to keep them developing them until mastery is achieved.
They should be shown a lot of love because though they are detached and not as attention-seeking, they
do need it. If they don’t get enough love, the already cold side of their character would get even colder,
and it will be difficult for them to make friends.

LIBRA-RISING NATIVES’ HIDDEN MOTIVE AND OTHER TRAITS

They desire to gain power over others through adjusting to them. They are good readers of people’s
archetypes and adjust accordingly in order to gain their trust and eventually be in control.
Usually these people are good with money so they may be accountants or they may deal with finances
in other ways, like by working in a bank. Libras born under the Lupus constellation may become clever

There are some of those born in the third decanate of Libra who are selfish and use others to attain their
goals. But most of Libra-rising natives are not money-minded and are not selfish; they are justice-

displays much passivity, Libra-rising natives may spend all their time weighing things but not proceed

SCORPIO ASCENDANT MEANING

Scorpios are very easy to recognize. They have a strong jawbone and penetrating usually dark eyes.
You can feel that there’s so much more to them than what they show, there’s so much intensity. They
run on emotional energy though they rarely display their emotions in public.
They have high cheekbones and a square face, and a square face is also usual in Leo ascendants but
Leo ascendant males experience boldness later in life whilst Scorpio ascendants tend to keep their
luscious hair.
The Scorpio natives’ hair is usually very strong, and this can be seen by looking at the YouTuber Lisa
who is a Scorpio Sun. She’s over 50 yet the hair is beautiful and plentiful. I believe she could be a
double Scorpio or the Moon could be in Scorpio, because the scorpionic influence is so obvious in her
appearance.

appearance is very scorpionic.

Another example is Shah Rukh Khan, who is 54 now, yet his hair is gorgeous.
 Shah Rukh Khan is 54 (on the left) yet his hair is as gorgeous as it was in his youth. He has that
striking unmistakable Scorpio appearance. SRK is a double Scorpio, by the way.

It takes experience to see the Scorpio influence that’s a little hidden by soft aspects, but with practice
that’s indeed possible. This can be said about Aishwarya Rai, who has a Scorpio Sun, Capricorn Moon
and it’s told that her ascendant is Libra but that’s not confirmed. It’s quite likely, though.

Scorpio natives’ actions have a lot of emotional charge and because of this intensity they do well in
many occupations. They put their all into their actions.
Scorpio natives either achieve their potential of becoming eagles which is a spiritual equivalent of this
sign, or they degrade to become truly biting scorpions.
I came across both, and I know through experience that if they’re good, they are really good and
usually spiritually advanced, but if they are bad, they can be deadly.
If they are the eagle-type Scorpios, you really want them to be your friends as they will be loyal and
will fight for you and will help you. They protect their families and usually want to have children. They
are very fertile.
If they are bad, you really don’t want to have them as enemies as they will bring harm to you. Even for
eagle-type Scorpios it’s hard to forgive, not to say this about the scorpion-type.
Whilst the eagle-type Scorpios have fixed, thoughtful, intense and mysterious eyes, the scorpion-type
ones have eyes that have something sinister about them.
Scorpio natives often have thin lips that are firmly pressed. This is very obvious in Holly Madison and
the YouTuber Lisa I’ve already shown pictures of.
The nose of Scorpio rising natives can be short and broad, straight and sometimes aquiline, indeed like
that of an eagle. So this is again a big difference to the nose type of Leo-rising individuals.
Another example is Demi Moore, who has a heavy Scorpio influence with the Sun being there too. She
has four planets in Scorpio, three of them being personal ones.

We can see something very scorpionic about her – a square, heavy jawline, thin lips and beautiful dark

There’s a more passive type of Scorpio too, with a more round face and full lips. This is the feminine
type of Scorpio. The lips can look somewhat loose or simply full. But the heaviness of the jawline
remains.
 Young Shah Rukh Khan – we can see full lips and a rounder face, typical of the more
feminine Scorpio types. But the intensity of Scorpio remains.

This type is often short and slim, and they can be clumsy and slow. Sometimes you can feel the Libra
influence in these types and often they’re the first decan Scorpios which Shahrukh is. His stature is not
short but normal though, which is probably modified by his Aquarius Moon.

The masculine type of Scorpio is not as slim and the features may be exaggerated. Also, because
Scorpio is a strong sign, it’s quite easy to recognize any Scorpio influence no matter how modified by
other planets and signs it is.
Often Scorpio natives are dark-skinned. I remember in an interview SRK complained in a funny way
that he’s the darkest and shortest of his family members on the male side, which is appropriate for the
feminine Scorpio type.
Geminis often lack beards or have them weak, but Scorpio men often have thick beards. The bodies are
strong and usually very beautifully formed of both men and women.

SECRETIVE AND FAMILY-ORIENTED

In this post I’m going to explain appearance, character features, the best occupation and other aspects
of Sagittarius ascendant natives.

SAGITTARIUS ASCENDANT APPEARANCE

The skull of sagittarians is quite long, wide and well proportioned. The forehead is high and hair is far
back from the temples.
They have an open, alert and sincere countenance yet the eyes may have a somewhat dreamy look.
 The first famous person that comes to mind with Sagittarius ascendant is Prince William. He also
has Neptune as well as Lilith conjunct his ascendant, and his natal chart is extremely interesting. He
is very tall, has broad, open features, and looks jovial – very true of Sagittarius-rising people. Also,
when he was younger, his chin was pointed, but now he has a heavier-looking jaw because of
overeating tendencies, which are again very Sagittarian.

The nose of a pure sagittarian is long and straight. The mouth may look well shaped, sometimes
tending towards fullness. The chin is pointed and narrow, but if Jupiter is in the first house too, the jaw
may look heavy. Men often lose hair later in life, which is also the case with Leo and Aries natives, all
having the fire element in common.

It is told that the conscious and subconscious minds of Sagittarians work in union with each other,

also the most optimistic sign of all, the second most optimistic one being Leo.
This sign represents an attempt to liberate one’s self from animal nature. That’s why many developed
Sagittarians are truth-seekers. Often even the ones that are undeveloped, the ones that are only
interested in sports, gambling and adventures, turn more inwards when the middle-age is reached, to

Often the complexion can appear darkish, sickly, and because of the lack of fullness of face, wrinkles
appear early. These people can also be easily recognized because of their seriousness. When you come
into contact with them it’s hard to remain very cheerful because of their realistic, earthy, practical and
serious energy.
Some types can have some sort of bodily deformity (look for afflicted Saturn), especially of bones, and
in old age they are deformed by arthritis unless they learn to overcome selfishness and attain mental
flexibility.
Some Capricorn-rising natives are at risk of getting paralysis of any part of the body. Even though they
can be sickly, there’s still the feeling of great determination and clinging to life. They often have

really changing the appearance of the native.
However, some features will remain, such as erratic and intense movements, which are the opposite of

This is one of the most difficult rising signs to have. People who have Pisces as their ascendant find it
hard to understand who they are and defining boundaries could be a challenge; emotions may
overwhelm, and high sensitivity to people, environment, other realms and non-physical entities can
prove too much to handle.
Yet if Pisces-rising individuals are self-aware and learn from their mistakes, especially learning to stop
running away from reality by getting lost in the world of fantasy or mind-altering substances, then
these people can become the most spiritual of all.

This is not a longevity sign and natives can die in childhood, of infectious diseases or the ones caused
by passivity and self-indulgence. They may be poisoned, become drug addicts or alcoholics, ending
their lives in dissipation.
Those who are on a bit higher level of consciousness will instead pursue religion and may die in some
cult unless they are very careful; because of their susceptibility they tend to attract people who may
abuse them, and because of their lack of boundaries they want to merge into some greater movement.
Thus many fall prey to religious cults.
Another danger for Pisces-rising people is the New Age movement, as they may start channeling
entities, becoming their puppets, not realizing that the entities use them. So these people need to be
very careful not to waste their lives for unworthy causes.

They may be more sensitive than other people to disturbing sounds and sights so they will be the
happiest if they live in harmonious and quiet environment. Also, they may be careless with money,
spending on the feeling of the moment and also being generous with money yet not wisely. For
example, they may donate to institutions that make heartbreaking commercials yet do not much help
the causes they side with.
It’s easy to move them emotionally so they must guard against being deliberately made sad so that they
don’t part with their money or give their time to some deceptive or worthless cause. They should guard
against negative mental content as they may be consumed by worry or fear. Many of their fears are
imagined.
They may be absentminded and forget where they put things. They often lose their belongings. They
get unpleasant dreams. There are people in their lives plotting for their failure.
