Field Observation

On 14 February 2020 we arrived at the Happy Bakery factory at 9.00 a.m and all of us
were directed to the foyer and the manager bribed on the factory’s history and establishment.
Around 10 a.m, we started to tour the manufacturing bread process where we all were taken
to the bread processing area to see how the bread was made with the existing equipment.

The first stage process is mixing and kneading the dough where the sifted flour is
poured into an industrial mixer. A pre-measured amount of yeast and other ingredients are
poured into the mixer. In stage two, a high-speed machine is used to manipulate the dough at
high speeds which forces the yeast cells to multiply. This process is called fermentation. Next
stage is the process of moulding and baking where all the doughs are reshaped into loaves
and baked in an industrial oven.

Last stage, the baked bread is sliced before automatically packed using a high speed
wrapping machine. This step is called slicing and packaging. Around 12.30 p.m, we finished
the tour, had lunch prepared by the factory and some photography sessions with all the staff.

Conclusion

It is obvious that all the staff in the bakery has been trained and experienced very well
because the result of the bread production was amazing thus the good quality of raw material
used in preparation was taken care to ensure the health of consumers.

Food Bear and Hello provided the quickest delivery time to the customers. However, it
showed that the reward such as promotion, voucher and free delivery charge is given to the
customer for all delivery food companies. It is because the more reward is given, the more
