This investigation is with the purpose to determine the ability of the member of my family
to use their left hand to perform daily task like eat, write, catch something and other.
Explanation: During this investigation, the participant will be tested and score with a rate
of 1 to 5 in tress different categories coordination, reflection, and precision to write.

The question to answer: It is possible for the member of my family too well complete
tasks that usually are for the right hand with their left hand?
HYPOTHESIS

Considering that all the members of my family are right-hand users and
that they are not used to do with their left hand. I would say that they will
fail in most of the tasks.
M AT E R I A L
• Task 1
• A plate with food preferent liquid food
• A spoon
• Task 2
• Paper and pencil or pen
• Task 3
• A small ball or object that is not that have
PROCEDURE
• Task 1 coordination.
• For this stage of the investigation, I asked the participants to use their left hand to
hold the spoon with they eat.
PROCEDURE
• Task 2 reflection
• For the second part of the investigation, I used a water bottle and an orange. This time
with the purpose to measure the participant's reflexes and skills of their left hand. This
time I throw to the participant battler water and orange from 6 ft of distance, and I
asked them to catch it using their left hand.
PROCEDURE
• Task 3
• Pressure when writing
• For the third and last part of the investigation, I asked the participants to use their left
hand to write a few sentences to measure their pressure and clarity of writing.

• The results in the first task shown that all the participants can eat using their left
-hand but they had some difficulties with the coordination of their hands and
head.
• Participant 1: expressed had felt weird and uncountable using her left hand
and her movements were clumsier.

• Participant 2: She said " I could do it well, I don’t feel any differences using my
right left hand to eat.

• Participant number 3 started the task using the left hand but then he
unconsciously changed the hand.

• The results in the second task were different for everyone given the reflexes of
everyone. Also, the results have shown that two of the participants could complete the
task and caught the objects in the second and third try and only one participant could
complete the task at the first try.
• The tables below are shown better the results

• The results in this task shown that all the participants cannot be strong and precise
when they are using their left hand to writing. Given that they are moving their hand in
the opposite directing at which they use to do.

• Dates to highlight: When participants use a pencil for the task, they had more difficulty
than when they use a pin.
CONCLUSION

After having analyzed and identified several variables that I did not consider and the
outcomes of this small experiments, I can say that the hypothesis was not true given that my
statements overgeneralized the situation and I did not concern variables like the artifacts used
for the experiment, the capacities of each participant and other. By last, this experiment
concludes that the hand individuals useless are more slow, clumsy, and have less precision
and strong than the hand that is in constant movement and use. However, this can change
with training and practice. For example, after fail attempts, the participants archived the goal
for the tasks.
