Lab 11: Multiplexer

Objective(s):

“To understand the operating principles and construction of multiplexer circuit.”

Tool(s) used:

 KL-31001 DLD Trainer

 Module KL-33006
 Connector leads

Overview:

A multiplexer (or mux) is a device that selects one of several analog or digital input signals and
forwards the selected input into a single line. A multiplexer of 2n inputs has (n) select lines,
which are used to select which input line to send to the output.

Task 01+02: Time: 30 Minutes

Construct the equivalent circuit of the circuit given below using NAND gates (Module KL-
33006). Construct the circuit on breadboard as well.
