products and outputting ,into the area of cartoning , the action of packaging has been
finished.

2、Structural Features
This machine using the most advanced structure of cantilever, adopting transmission
with in-phase belt, compact structure, easy operation, reliable running, low noise ,
convenient maintenance.
The electric control parts imported from other countries, such as Japan, Germany, and
both the famous brands, such as Omron .Omron is the most advanced servo motors ,
servo compensate ,in-phase position , accurate cutter. High quality electric parts,
insuring stable running, low breakage rate , long using time ,high degree of
automatic, high packaging speed and have a nice-looking of the product .

Usually ,the width and length of packaging film shall refer to the above formula, In
actual production ,the detail data of L and B shall be subject to future adjustments by
the user as per the dimensions and appearance requirements of the product package .
五、Operation of Installation and Adjustment
1、Preparations before turning on the machine
1)Install bag former:
Adjust the height and width of bag former as per the condition of the products to
be packed.
2)Get a thread and lead it through from input conveyor to output conveyor ,then
straighten it up to verify if the center of pushing forkerof input conveyor, center
of bag former, center of draught wheel and horizontal selling wheel ,center of
clamping conveyor, center of horizontal seller ,center of output conveyor remain
in the same straight line.(Figure 3 )

3 ) Check if the surface of level of slide rail of the products in input conveyor
,bottom of the bag former , the surface of level of the plane in vertical seal
,horizontal seal transition cover and the surface of level of output conveyor remain
in the same straight line .(Vertical plane as the height the products , its horizontal
plane is allowed to be a little inclined )—Figure 4

4)Brake roller adjustment
According to the film running ,brake release ,the setting of the film’s stop and
move , to adjust the force of the brake and the wrap angle . See Figure 5

5)Open the inner and outer machine body to check if any installation faults exist,
make sure the machine has been properly connected to power source.
2、Electrification adjustment
1 ) After the machine electrified, observe each of electric parts in electric control
box and meter panel if any abnormality exist .
2)Jogging at a low speed ,observe if the machine running normally and verify each
button if has its said functions.
3)Adjust the sealer in some sort (after the temperature reaches 120 degree) ,Using
a piece of white paper for testing ,make sure press marks are all the same in
every part .
4)Adjust the screw which supporting the cutter, gradually knock out the cutter ,until to
cut the white paper.

(3)Adjustment of vertical seal
After passing the bag former of the film ,then passing draught wheel , switch the
handle of draught wheel , jog the machine ,the film will pass the vertical sell

properly (if not ,passed with manually ).switch the handle of vertical seal
automatically after turn on the machine ,then observe if the volume the vertical
seal is properly and stability ,if not ,please repeat the above procedures .
If the volume the vertical seal too small ,it means the bag former’s width or
height doesn’t have the suitable sizes or the film ‘s width too narrow .(the fixed
bag former ‘s inside width wider 6-10mm than actual product’s , higher 3-6mm
than actual product’s , fim ‘s width wider 30mm than actual product’s
perimeter )
4、Detection of color code and adjustment of photoelectric eye
First adjust the vertical distance from photoelectric to driving roller (app. within
10mm), make it face to the point of the color code ,then running the machine
,observe if the “red”and “green”indicators both light before meeting the indicator
of the film color code and “red”indicator will turn off when meeting color code ;
If not ,adjust the sensitivity button of the photoelectric eye ,make sure it has the
above effect which we described .Under normal working status of the
photoelectric eye both indicators are lit ,the red indicator wink one time when
meet the color code .
5、Adjustment of variety of the products
This is a automatic packaging machine with three servo motors , easy
operation ,different products have different stored information ,operator just
adjust one time that input the each correct electric parameters into this machine
,then save . Every time when packaging different kind of products ,just choose
the number record which saved in the machine ,and change product’s chains and
other parts ,then can achieve the product’s packaging .The main parts as followed
:
(1)Adjustment of bag length
1 Measure the actual length between the two color codes on the packaging film .
2 Into the setting of the production, get the point of length indicate to set the bag
length ,make sure the indicate bag length to be 0.5-1.5mm less than actual bag
length .
( 2 ) Each insured technical parameters including pushing products position ,
feeding position, clamping speed ,color code cutting position ,film running
speed per minute at the instant of horizontal cutting and sealing temperature
should save after fully commissioning .

6、Adjustment of inspiration setting
As per different products that want to pack ,should push a part of extra air which
in tube product out ,then seal ,cut ,gusset ,doing the above things ,the machines
could pack the quality and beautiful products .
Our inspiration setting is a specialized fan ,attach with bucket for crumbles , use PLC
control , to make the best effect of inspiration . Detail operation instruction please
see the followed conversion and fan’s manual .
7. Trial running with the products and packaging film
Observe if the cutter has cut at the appropriate position on the packaging bag ;if
not, adjust the new technical parameters ,until cut the appropriate position .
六、Adjustment of Key Setting
The key setting has been adjusted before shipping to the machine leaves factory

,during the process of using or maintenance please adjustment as per the method
said in this manual .
Ⅰ、Adjustment of horizontal seal
a.If you find that the seal strength at one side is higher but at the other side is lower
on horizontal seal .Usually it may be caused by two reasons as followed :
( 1 ) The center line between the top and bottom horizontal seller and top and
bottom horizontal sealing axles don’t superposition. (See figure 7 ):

Adjustment method :
Feed a piece of white paper into the machine while it is running under the
heating status, observe the embossing on the paper .If the right embossing
texture is not clear but the right texture is clear ,it means the center line
excursion to left .You should loosen the screw of the horizontal sealer in some
sort ,knock gently to right refer to Figure 7 ,make sure the center line between
top - bottom horizontal sealer and top-down horizontal seal axles remains
superposition , instead ,knock to the opposite direction.
(2)The cutter on too high a position:
The cutter on too high a position may lead to the mechanism of horizontal sealer’s
noise so loud ,and influence the normal mating of the top-bottom horizontal
sealer and also affect the life of the cutter ,as well as lead to the bad quality of
the sealing .(See figure 8 )
Adjustment method:
Loosen the fixed screw of the upper cutter ,using hammer to knock the edge of
the cutter ,when the horizontal sealer’s temperature reached its working
temperature status , gradually knock out the cutter ,at the same time ,put the
white paper to verify the effect of the cutting .
Be sure to push in and out appropriately when adjust the fixed screw ,until the
edge of top and bottom cutter contact with each other equalities ,make sure cut
the ends and middles of white paper equalities .Please note that don’t knock the
cutter in a high position ,so as not to effect the quality of the sealing .

b .In horizontal sealing ,the embossing on white paper not very clear or has
crack .
Such phenomenon is usually caused by clearance between the top and down
horizontal sealer is not evenly (See figure 9)
Adjustment method:
While the machine is running ,put in a piece of whiter paper to observe the
embossing ,if the embossing on the paper is crushed or unevenly between two
sides ,it means that the clearance not evenly ,you could adjust the embossing
until it is clear using the hammer to knock it gently as shown in Figure 9 and
toward to the marked direction.

c.Horizontal sealing creased or bad sealing effect
If such a phenomenon arises when the horizontal sealer and cutter have been
adjusted properly, it means the temperature of the horizontal sealing is not
appropriate. You should adjust the temperature properly as per environment
temperature, hot sealing temperature of the film , observe the quality of the
sealing .

3)、If you feel the force of the vertical seal not enough , having a bad seal effect,
you could loosen blocking nut ,running the pressure regulation case in a
clockwise way ,then running the draft bar by a handle clockwise ,until the
pressure is enough when close the vertical seal wheel ,and the clearance
between the switching on/off handle and the end surface of the pressure
relation case is 0.5mm ,at this time , fasten up the lock up nut and blocking
nut (Figure 11).

4 ) 、 Daub butter between movable vertical seal base and vertical seal box
regularly.
5)、Eliminate the axial looseness of the vertical seal axle when maintenance .
6)、Close vertical seal wheel gently when the machine is running.
7)、The speed of the vertical seal wheel is faster than the speed of the draught
wheel .Make sure the film running smoothly by adjusting the speed handle
to achieve.
Ⅲ、Adjustment of the tightly statement of the clamping conveyor
Loosen fixed screw on clamping parts, moved handle, achieved to adjust the tightly
state of clamping conveyor according to your requirements.
Ⅳ、Adjustment of the center of horizontal seal
The whole horizontal seal could adjust up and bottom, make sure the center of
the horizontal seal and the center of the products superposition, insure the
products more packed beautiful. The adjust handle in horizontal seal covers, you
will see when open horizontal seal cover.
七、Maintenance and Safety Procedures
1、Mechanical maintenance
a . Although a new machine has been trial operation and running in the
manufacturer factory ; users are advised not to run the machine in a high speed
until after using the machine under middle-speed running-in state for a period
of time.
b . Machine should be maintenance strictly as per maintenance procedures.
Operators shall conduct maintenance tasks, which cover: lubricate moving part
regularly, check if any fixing parts have been loosened, often clean gear
wheels, in phase wheels, chain wheels, chains, bars, the surface of the machine,
covers, working tables and inner corners of the machine.

c . After a new machine has been run for 3 months, should fasten the running
chains and moving belts.
2、Electrical maintenance :
a.Check if any ends of the electric wirings have been loosened .
b.If the probe of the photoelectric detector is covered by dust, this maybe lead to
errors because of detection functions, therefore, it is required to check and
clean the probe head regularly.
c . The parts which matched with approach switch should clean regularly, and
wipe off the grease and dust, metal crumble and so on, make sure the approach
switch is working normally.
d.Cut off the power source of the slide ring of the horizontal seal, using a soft of
gauze with alcohol to clean the graphite power on the surface, and often to
check the pressure of the spring.
e.The parts of the electric must not open by non-professional workers, to avoid
any damages or incidents.
f.During the running of the machine, if any abnormally raised, stop its running
immediately, ask a specialized worker to check before using the machine again.
g.Must turn off the power source after finishing use it
h . Once the technical parameters of the moving control parts ,servo parts and
other control parts have been well set up , please don’t try to change it ,
otherwise ,it could lead to mis-operation or break-down of the machine.
3、Safety procedure
a.The external of the machine must be fully earthed.
b.Don’t put your hand or head into the vertical seal, horizontal seal, film driving
roller and driving system.
c . Don’t wear gloves to operate the machine, any operator with long hair must
wear a safety helmet, and shall not have any hair exposed out of the helmet, so
as to avoid hair from enwound by the machine and prevent injury.
e.Don’t touch any parts where have the electric.
八、Lubrication
1、Each rolling bearings should pour the calcium-based lubricating grease .
2、Differential case should change oil often .(Suggest to use 30#engine oil )
3、Gear wheel ,chains and chain wheels should drop 40# engine oil .
