Pre colonial Philippines.

Back then there is a kingdom that have many kings and queens it is called rahas.
Different cultures from different tribes in difference places show that .The northern part of the
island have this culture where they both believe that there is god called bathala which they offer
sacrifices on which they believe to remove bad spirits. Men and women have the rights to head
the family .many activities from both of these kingdom develop trade as far as the Chinese
empire down to the kingdom of borneo to the south. For centuries this was the culture of the
inhabitants of those islands but it change when one man from the kingdom of spain who
circumnavigated the world from the west to east. Namely Ferdinand Magellan.

He was onto a mission of getting spices which they believed from the people of the west
that those spices can be found mainly from the east. That is why their king wanted an expedition
to search of these spices but only failed except for Magellan. Magellan’s journey started from
the island called moluccas besar. This island mainly… so

Magellan settled from the island called mactan where the people there welcomed them
and so except for a man named lapu-lapu. Lapu-lapu is the chieftain of a one tribe. Lapu lapu is
known for his territorial trait on which because of that he killed Magellan. But some of the men of
Magellan escaped. Few days later they reach the capital place of manila where they do blood
compact to the leaders namely, rajah matanda raja sulayman and rajah lakandula. At first they
have good connection between the leaders however that was changed one by one since the
people notice some different acts from the Spanish. They want the filipinos to bow to them and

Visayas. Rights were lost,force labor and belittleing the filipinos in their own land Because of
that revolution spike but many of them failed because of one reason: they have no unity at all
since back in the pre colonial era, they have their own ways on how to govern a battalion or
tribe. However there is one revolutionary group namely the KKK o kataastaasan kagalang
galangan ng mga anak ng bayan whose their devotion is love for their country. They want to
have their freedom back as result they ripped their cedulas and its known as the cry of
Balintawak. As many years to come war continue and on the date December 30, 1896 Jose
Rizal was executed and spark rage of the filipinos towards the Spaniards. Dr. Jose Rizal is a
hero towards all filipino and he was idolized by the members of the kkk. However on those days
the members of the kkk was divided because of different principles of who should be the leader
in short. KKK was split up into two factions: Magdalo and Magdiwang. Magdalo was headed by
Emilio Aguinaldo and magdiwang is headed by Bonifacio. In the year 1898 because of the
treaty of paris it was ….it was introduced another culture same what happened from spain war
continue but this time new heroes emerged namely gregorio del pilar,Antonio luna …. However
unlike the Spaniards, the americans give the filipinos a little bit of freedom because of the
“Policy attraction” This policy was craft by the president of the united states whose target is the
key elites in the Philippine society that might establish the reign of the united states in the pacific
and because of that In 1907 the Philippines convened its first elected assembly, and years later
the Jones Act promised the nation eventual independence. The archipelago became an
autonomous commonwealth in 1935 and the president of that year was Manuel Quezon who will
have a significant role in Conquering the southern part of the Philippines.

There is one island whose influence islam whose their leader is are called sultanates
from the south but everything change when Spaniards came. They brought firearms, manpower
to the island. Establish their superiority. For many years destruction and influence of their
culture was rampant but it didn’t last long. As Spaniards came to defeat the thought of peace
emerged but once cut because of Americans. From the beginning the rights of tribal minority
groups were ignored. Soon people from the north are moving already from this inhabited island
because their government was convinced them to reside here on this island. This was Manuel L
