Comparing the visions of Ezekiel and Lehi

The following verses are presented in the same order as in their respective chapters - with the exception of the verses in red from Ezekiel 1
which have been moved to line up with matching verses from 1Nephi 1. For comparison, some text has been deleted as shown, but no words
have been rearranged.

Ezekiel 1 Ezekiel sees in vision. About 592BC 1 Nephi 1Nephi begins the record Lehi sees in vision 600 B.C.

1 NOW it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth 4 For it came to pass in the commencement of the first year of

The following words in black are from First Nephi 1. The words in red are from Ezekiel 1. Even though the Old Testament
record of Ezekiel was revealed before Lehi's vision in the Book of Mormon, putting these phrases together with Lehi's vision
shown before Ezekiel's vision makes sense in light of the fact that Lehi preceded Ezekiel. No words or phrases have been
rearranged.
