COMPLETE MAVIC MINI PREFLIGHT CHECKLIST

☑☑ PERFORM STEPS 1-3 BEFORE LEAVING

1. PREPARATION *
☐☐ Check you’re flying in a safe flight zone ☐☐ Set Mavic Mini on a flat, level surface
☐☐ Check weather conditions ☐☐ If using a phone, attach to bottom of the RC
☐☐ Check for firmware updates ☐☐ If using a tablet, attach the tablet and tablet
☐☐ Check for DJI Fly app updates adapter to the RC
☐☐ Plan flight route
☐☐ Make sure location is free of obstacles
5. POWERING UP
☐☐ Turn on phone and enter the DJI Fly app
2. MAKE SURE ITEMS ARE PRESENT * ☐☐ Turn on the Remote Controller
☐☐ Mavic Mini drone
☐☐ Turn on the Mavic Mini
☐☐ Batteries
☐☐ Lights will flash on the bottom of the Mavic
☐☐ Remote controller (RC)
☐☐ The Mavic Mini will make the “DJI chime”
☐☐ Micro SD card
☐☐ The gimbal will move & calibrate
☐☐ Phone or tablet with DJI Fly
☐☐ Connect Mavic Mini to DJI Fly
☐☐ Cable to connect RC to phone
☐☐ Adjust camera settings
☐☐ Wait for GPS & Compass Signals
3. BATTERY CHECK * ☐☐ Set a good return to home point
☐☐ Inspect overall aircraft/battery for damage
☐☐ Check Mavic Mini battery level
☐☐ Check RC battery level
☐☐ Check phone or tablet battery level
6. BEGIN FLIGHT
☐☐ Start props, but don’t take off yet
☐☐ Let Mavic Mini idle and inspect for irregular
4. PREPARE THE AIRCRAFT vibrations or movements on the ground
☐☐ Unfold arms of Mavic Mini ☐☐ To launch the Mavic Mini, press the left stick
☐☐ Ensure props are tightly screwed on up and the Mavic will take off
☐☐ Remove gimbal cover ☐☐ To stop the Mavic Mini, press and hold the
☐☐ Insert Micro SD card left stick down and the aircraft will land and
☐☐ Make sure RC is set to “P” mode propellers will stop
☐☐ Screw in thumbsticks ☐☐ Hover to check for stability
☐☐ Have fun and record awesome visuals!
