Topic: OPPORTUNITY SCREENING (THE 12 RS)

III. PROCEDURE
Preliminary Activity:
Motivation/Review
Present pictures of different businesses and let them pick one.
Why do you like that business?
What are the factors you consider in choosing business?
Presentation of the Lesson:
A. Activity
1. Group learners into six
2. Assign a task to each group.
a. Group one
Each member will write his/her personal vision, mission, and objectives for the enterprise you
want to set up. Group leader will consolidate the answer and come up with group’s vision
mission, and objectives.
b. Group two
Each member will give his/her values and desired virtues he/she want to impart. Group
leaders will consolidate and come up with the groups values and desired virtues they want to
impart.
c. Group three
What are the common interesr, talents, skills, and hobbies of the group.
d. Group four
Let the group analyze a business scenario if it will bring potential sales or not.
e. Group five
Let the group identifies the needs and wants of the people in their community.
f. Group six
Name five business establishments that have more than five branches
B. Analysis
1. Why it is necessary to align the personal vision, mission, and objectives for the enterprise
you want to put up?
2. What will happen if your business doesn’t match your values and desired virtues?
3. What do you observe with the people who did a certain task that suits to their interest,
talents, and skill?
4. How will you determine the sales potential of the product or services you want to offer?
5. Why it is important to have an assurance or big possibility of business revenues?
6. What are the wants and needs of the people here in our municipality?
7. How will you address the wants and needs of your potential customers?
8. If you will established your business today, what do you think will it become after 5
years?
9. How will you expand the business you have choosen?

D. Application
Let the learners proceed to their group.
Each member will give his/her chosen business.
From the given businesses the group will choose one in application of the discussed 6Rs.
