Affiant bases her probable cause for this search on the following facts and
circumstances
Patricia Skarlatos was hospitalized from approximately January 20, 2015 to May
26, 2015. Her husband, Paul Skariatos has been in deciining health due to Alzheimer's
disease and was in need of allemate care during his wife's hospitalization. His son from
‘a previous marriage, carialos, moved into care for his fathen at Paul and
Patricia's residence at During this
time, Matthew's sister Elizabeth Skarlatos and bromier, Michael Skaratos fad access 10the house. Paul later moved in to an assisted living facity and Matthew moved out of
Paul and Patricia's house and into Elizabeth's house.
Patricia fled a report with PFOBEDet the Fairfax County Police Department on
June 27.2018. She reported numerous antiques and heilooms disappeared from her
home while she was in the hospital. The items included stering silver flaware and
serving pieces, porcelain vases, crystal stemware, china, clocks, cancle holders and her
husband's Rolex watch and Annapolis Naval Academy ring. In addition, i
theiewills, appraisals for valuables, and medical paperwork was stolen. PF
contacted Matthew regarding the valuables and he denied any knowledge of the details,

Both sides of the family have retained legal counsel to establish guardianship
and power of attomey with respect to Paul and his estate. Patricia was granted
