Gym Based Stamina Session 4

Obj: Stamina, 75 Minute


Training:
1) 15 Minute AMRAP in 25# Vest/IBA
8x Overhead Squat @ 65/45#
Run 200m
8x Situps

2) 20 min AMRAP - No Vest/IBA


10x Power Clean @ 95/65#
Rope Climb or 4x Tarzan Pullups if no rope
10x Sandbag Back Squat @ 80/60#
5x Scotty Bobs (25/15)

3) 20 min AMRAP in 25# vest/IBA


40-Foot Walking Lunge (no load, just your vest)
40-Foot Backward Bear Crawl (to start)
Run 200m

4) 10 Rounds - No Vest/IBA Every 2 minutes complete


5x Hinge Lifts @ 135/95#
5x Box Jumps @ 20"
10x KB clean and press (5r/5l) @ 16/12kg
10x Goblet Squats @ 16/12kg

Comments:
We felt good - not too sore, and mentally strong - coming into this session, but Part (2)'s intensity popped me right in the nose. I managed 6+ rounds, but had to pull back
on the throttle to avoid digging myself into a hole. Part (2) wouldn't be that bad in a non-stamina week - but the work coming in, plus part (1) adds up.

Part (3) is in your IBA or weight vest only. Walk lunge for 40-feet, then backwards bear crawl back to the start, and run 200m.

Part (4) - we were averaging 35-45 seconds rest between rounds.

Grind through. We've got a rest day tomorrow, than another week of this Stamina cycle next week.
