RESEARCH PROJECT REPORT FORMAT

You need to maintain the following format for your


Research Project.

1. Report should be of Hard Binding( 2 copies).

2. Font type should be “Times New Roman” and


size should be 16. (Relating to cover Page)

3. Specimen of the cover page is displayed


separately.

4. Page no. should be typed not hand written


(Center).
Chronological manner of presenting your project:-

1. Blank Page
2. Title Page
3. Certificate from the Institute
4. Acknowledgement
5. Declarations
6. Table of contents:

i. Introduction
ii. Objectives
iii. Scope of the Study

iv. Literature Review

v. Importance of the study

vi. Research methodology used

vii. Analysis & interpretation of data collected

viii. Suggestions & recommendations

ix. Conclusions

x. Annexure/s (It shall contain relevant charts,


diagrams, data and bibliography).

How to write bibliography?

For Example:
Books

1. Gupta, S.L.,”Financial Derivatives”, Ed. 2005, Prentice Hall of India,


New Delhi.

Magazines:

2. Arak, M. and Goodman, Treasury Bond Futures: Valuing the delivery


options, The Journal of Futures Market’Vol. 7, pp 269-286, June,
1987.

Typing Instruction
NUMBER OF PAGES:
a. Minimum 125 pages Maximum 150 pages.

I. Paper size A-4 size paper (back to back)


II. Margins left =1.5 inches
III. Right = 1 inches
IV. Spacing with in a sentence between words 1 space, after a colon 2 spaces, after a
semicolon: 2 spaces, after a comma: 1 space, after a full stop 2 spaces.
V. Times New Roman, 12 font size

Headings
(i) Center head (font size 16, all are in capital, bold without underlining)
(ii) Center Subhead (font size14, all capital, bold, without underlining)
(iii) Side head (font size12, lowercase, bold, without underlining)

Note: All the students are required to follow the above mentioned guidelines and are
required to write the project report in their own language.
