NOTE
The GE0 network port is used for the recording service, and the GE1 network port is used to connect to the
IP storage area network (IPSAN) or the network attached storage (NAS) system.
Each optical port has an electrical port as its backup. The GE0, GE1, and FE network ports must reside
in different network segments.
Remember the IP address assigned to the GE0 network port because you will need it when logging in to
the RSE6500 web interface.
If Enable NTP is selected, you must set NTP server address, but

If you change the system time, all users including yourself will be logged out. You need to re-log in
and continue to perform the following configuration tasks.
5.3 Applying for and Importing a License
The values of Max. concurrent live broadcast videos and Max. concurrent recordings in the license loaded onto the
RSE6500 before delivery depend on the RSE6500 model. For the RSE6500-M, the values of the two parameters are both 4,
but for the RSE6500-L, the are 6.
Checking the License
On the RSE6500 web interface (RSE6500-M used as an example here), choose System > System Info >
License Info to view license information.
If the loaded license has the same capacity as the license that you have purchased, choose System >
Maintenance > Restart System and click Restart System to make the IP address configuration take effect.
If the loaded license has a smaller capacity than the license that you have purchased, import the
purchased license and restart the RSE6500 as prompted.
