There are many different kinds of parasites. Some are plats and some are animals. Some live in the bodies or tissues of their
host or others are found in the outside of their victims.

You can see that disease germs are parasites. Certain larger parasites may carry germs from one host to another. Some
parasites are nuisance, if not downright dangerous.

The presence of some other parasites, however, works to our advantage. Many of them injure us in one way or another,
including the fact that they reduce our food supply. Some are useful because they destroy the organisms that otherwise would eat
our foods and other materials.
