EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This study focuses on the development of a web-based training system for the

employees and faculty members of San Sebastian College-Recoletos de Cavite. This can

be used by the faculty members and non-teaching personnel from all departments - basic

education, senior high school and college.

The proposed web-based training system include module contents based on

training programs to be designed by the HRMO. The proposed web-based training

system will provide assessment based on contents. However, the result is expected to be

applied to the actual workplace environment. The proposed web-based training system

will generate certificate of completion of training.

The development team used the Rapid Application Development model in

implementation of the proposed system. The study utilized the descriptive method since it

determines the current training system for employees of San Sebastian College Recoletos

de Cavite that led to the development of new improved system.

The development team performed a user acceptance test consisting of twenty (20)

respondents. They evaluated the proposed software in terms of functionality, reliability,

usability, efficiency, and maintainability. The online training system was evaluated after

the user acceptance test, and it determined if the system met all the criteria. The

respondents rated the system on its overall rating as 4.20 which means very good.

The replication of the study can be helpful for comparison purposes. This will

serve as a guide for reference.
