10’ Warmer T-Ss 1. Draw 3x3 Bingo grid on the board.
Bingo words: Study, S 2. Write verbs in present tense.
meet, watch, buy, Ss-T 3. Have student copy the grid and put the words into the grids.

4. When they have finished, have them take turn choosing a word by
making them into past tense sentence.
5. Continue the game until someone have their grid complete and say
“Bingo!”.
6. Award a trophy for the winner.
7. Correct their errors as they say the sentences/
VOCABULARY
14’ Lead-in T-Ss 1. Write the word “internet” on the board and elicit ideas.
S-S 2. Ask students where, how often and what they use internet for.
Ss-T 3. Elicit their favorite websites and write then on the board.
Presentation T-Ss 1. Display Unit Presentation 2: Internet Language slide 3.
Ss-T 2. Elicit picture and what it is for: sign up page.
3. Elicit the difference between sign up, sign in and sign out. Write
on the board if necessary.
4. Elicit things they need to enter when signing up: email address,
username and password.
5. Reveal the example and elicit what the “* “sign means: asterisks;
for hiding our password.
Practice T-Ss 1. Have them open their books to page 32.
S 2. For part A, have them complete the sign up form.
Ss-T 3. For part B, have them complete the instruction using the words
learned.
Activity B, Answer Key
1. If you already have an account, you can sign in.
2. If you don't have an account, you need to sign up.
3. First, enter your email address.
4. Then choose a username. This is your name on the website.
5. Next, choose a password. Don't tell anyone what it is.
6. Click the button to create your account.
7. When you finish, remember to sign out.
WRITING
14’ Presentation T-Ss 1.
Direct their attention to page 34.
Ss-T 2.
Tell them that they’re going write their biography.

Elicit each questions’ meaning.
4.
Show example of teacher answer by writing it on the board.
5.
With your profile, demonstrate how to score the exercise.
6.
Award one point for every guide question answered in the bio.
Bonus points can be given for extra information, more complex
sentences.
Practice T-Ss 1. Give them 2 minutes to complete their bio on the book.
S-S 2. When they have finished, assign 2 students and tell them to read
Ss-T and score their friend’s bio.
3. Correct their errors if necessary.
SPEAKING & TRANSFERABLE SKILLS
14’ Presentation T-Ss 1. Tell the class the next step is to 'follow' things they like. When
S they do this on a website, they will see videos, photos and stories
Ss-T about those interests.
2. Display the Digital Book page 34 A.
3. Give them 2 minutes to choose the area of interest.
4. Ask a student: “Do you like sports?”:
 If the student answers 'Yes, I do,' say "Me too!" or “So do I” in reply.
 If he/she says 'No, I don't,' say "Me neither!" or “Neither do I”.
5. Write them on the board.
Practice T-Ss 1. Assign students in pairs by moving their videos.
S-S 2. Have them take turn asking and answering the questions.
Ss-T 3. Have them take note of their friend’s answer.
4. Then have them come up with 4 sentences: 2 positive using "Me
too!" and “So do I” and 2 negative using "Me neither!" and
“Neither do I”.
5. Have them write the sentences on page 35.
6. Give them 3 minutes to finish it.
7. When they have finished, have them take turn reading the
sentences.
GRAMMAR
14’ Presentation T-Ss 1. Display Unit Presentation 3.
S 2. Say: “I love basketball. Who else love basketball?”.
Ss-T 3. Those who say “yes”, elicit the correct response.
4. Those who say “no”, elicit the correct responses.
5. Reveal the answer.
6. Do the same thing for the next slides, going to the slide after for
the answer and go back to the slide before.
Practice T-Ss 1. Have them open their books to page 36.
S 2. Have one student at a time to read a sentence and say their own
Ss-T responses.
3. Correct their errors.
4. On page 37, have them choose the correct answer.
5. Discuss as a class.

Ss-T 2. Ask them what they talk about and the movie genres mentioned:
movies; horror, comedy, sci-fi & action.
Listening for T-Ss 1. Have students open their books to page 38.

3. Play the audio again then check their answers.
