1 Installationsanleitung Modifikation "Lange Leiter-

platten an SIPLACE S20/S23/S25/F4/F5"

1.1 Technische Beschreibung

Die in der Standard-Maschine zu verarbeitende LP-Länge ist aufgrund der Sensor-Abstände (Ein-
gabe-/Mittenband) mit 18“ spezifiziert. Da der Bearbeitungsbereich der Bestückköpfe grösser als
der Sensorabstand ist, kann durch eine Modifikation der Sensorabfragen ein Bearbeitungsbereich
bis 610 mm realisiert werden. Durch ein Zusatzbaugruppe wird der Eingabesensor freigeschaltet,
sobald der Mitten-/bzw. Ausgabesensor aktiviert ist. Gleichzeitig werden die Signale „Anforde-
rung“ und „Erlaubnis“ zur vorherigen Station abgeschaltet um zu verhindern, dass weitere Leiter-
platten in die Maschine transportiert werden. Damit können Leiterplatten bis zu einer Länge von
610 mm verarbeitet werden. Da sich bei dieser Option nur eine Leiterplatte in der Maschine be-
finden kann, verringert sich die Leistung durch erhöhte Transportzeiten. Daher kann auf der Zu-
satzbaugruppe der Modus „lange Leiterplatte“ ausgeschaltet werden. 1

1.2 Modifikation

[Die Zusatzbaugruppe wird in das „Klemmenfeld links“ der SIPLACE Anlage eingebaut.] 1

a Schalten Sie den Bestückautomaten am Hauptschalter aus und trennen Sie ihn vom Netz.

s Bringen Sie die Zusatzbaugruppe an einer leere Stelle der mittleren Hutschiene im „Klemmfeld
links“ an.

d Ziehen Sie das Kabel auf A3X2kf7 (rt) ab und schliessen Sie es an Klemme 3 der Zusatzbau-
gruppe an.

f Ziehen Sie das Kabel auf A4X6kg5 (li) ab und schliessen Sie es an Klemme 1 der Zusatzbau-
gruppe an.

g Ziehen Sie das Kabel auf A4X6kg7 (rt/bl) ab und schliessen Sie es an Klemme 5 der Zusatz-
baugruppe an.

h Schliessen Sie Klemme 4 der Zusatzbaugruppe mittels eines zusätzlichen Kables an A3X2kf7
an.

j Schliessen Sie Klemme 2 der Zusatzbaugruppe mittels eines zusätzlichen Kabels an A4X6kg5
an.

k Schliessen Sie Klemme 6 der Zusatzbaugruppe mittels eines zusätzlichen Kabels an A4X6kg7
an.

l Ziehen Sie das Flachbandkabel an A4X3kg ab und stecken Sie es auf die Zusatzbaugruppe
X2. Verbinden Sie beiliegendes Flachbandkabel von der Zusatzbaugruppe X1 an A4X3kg.

; Schalter geschlossen (EIN) entspricht Zusatzbaugruppe aktiviert (lange Leiterplatten möglich).

1.3 Modifikation rückgängig machen

a Schalten Sie den Bestückautomaten am Hauptschalter aus und trennen Sie ihn vom Netz.

s Ziehen Sie das Kabel von A3X2kf7 ab.

d Ziehen Sie das Kabel von A4X6kg5 ab.

f Ziehen Sie das Kabel von A4X6kg7 ab.

g Ziehen Sie das Kabel von Klemme 3 der Zusatzbaugruppe (rt) ab und stecken Sie es auf
A3X2kf7.

h Ziehen Sie das Kabel von Klemme1 der Zusatzbaugruppe (li) ab und stecken Sie es auf
A4X6kg5.

j Ziehen Sie das Kabel von Klemme 5 der Zusatzbaugruppe (rt/bl) ab und stecken Sie es auf
A4X6kg7.

k Lösen Sie die Verbindung von X1 der Zusatzbaugruppe. Ziehen Sie das Flachbandkabel von
X2 der Zusatzbaugruppe ab und verbinden Sie es mit A4X3kg.

l Überprüfen Sie die Klemmfeldbelegung.

2.1 Technical description

Due to the distances between sensors (input - center belt), the specified PCB length to be proces-
sed in the standard machine is 18". The processing distance of placement heads is greater than
the sensor distance. This makes it possible to achieve a processing distance of up to 610 mm by
modifying the sensor scans. A supplementary assembly disables the input sensor as soon as the
center or output sensor is activated. At the same time the signals "Request" and "Permission" to
the upstream station are turned off in order to prevent further PCBs from being transported into
the machine. It is therefore possible to process PCBs up to 610 mm long. With this option, there
can only be one PCB in the machine at any the same time. Consequently, the placement rate is
lower because of the longer transport times. Therefore the mode "Long PCB" can be switched off
on the supplementary assembly. 2

2.2 Modification

[The supplementary assembly is installed in the "Terminal panel left" of the SIPLACE system.] 2

a Turn the system OFF and isolate it from the mains.

s Mount the supplementary assembly in the "Terminal panel left" at an empty location on the cen-
ter top-hat rail.

d Remove cable at A3X2kf7 (red) and connect it to terminal 3 of the supplementary assembly.

f Remove cable at A4X6kg5 (lilac) and connect it to terminal 1 of the supplementary assembly.

h Remove cable at A4X6kg7 (red/blue) and connect it to terminal 5 of the supplementary assem-
bly.

h Use an additional cable to connect terminal 4 to A3X2kf7.

j Use an additional cable to connect terminal 2 to A4X6kg5.

k Use an additional cable to connect terminal 6 to A4X6kg7.

l Remove ribbon cable at A4X3kg and plug onto the supplementary assembly X2. Connect ac-
companying ribbon from the supplementary assembly X1 to A4X3kg.

; Switch closed (ON) corresponds to supplementary assembly activated (= long PCBs possible).

2.3 Undoing Modification

a Turn the system OFF and isolate it from the mains.

s Remove cable from A3X2kf7.

d Remove cable from A4X6kg5.

f Remove cable from A4X6kg7.

g Remove cable from terminal 3 of the supplementary assembly (red) and plug it onto A3X2kf7.

h Remove cable from terminal 1 of the supplementary assembly (lilac) and plug it onto A4X6kg5.

j Remove cable from terminal 5 of the supplementary assembly (red/blue) and plug it onto
A4X6kg7.

k Remove the ribbon cable from X1; remove the ribbon cable from X2 and plug it at the SIPLACE
interface port A4X3kg.
